10 days ago, I called Saltgrass in Gulfgate inquiring about reserving the private dining area for my Aunt's 80th birthday on November 29th. All of my information was taken and I was told that they had a lady that was responsible for the private dining area and she was not in that day.
Today, I called Saltgrass in Gulfgate, spoke to Abraham, one of the managers. I informed him that no one had returned my phone call or email about the private dining. He tells me that they have been opened for "ONLY 3 weeks." He took my information again. I asked, "How long would it be before I should expect to hear from someone?" Abraham told me, "2 WEEKS!" So I asked, "Why does it take 2 WEEKS just to see if the room is available?" Abraham told me, "If I need to know sooner, I should call another Saltgrass.
The response did not set well with MY SPIRIT! My family and I have been using Saltgrass' private dining area for a long time for special occasions. I WILL NOT USE THEM...

Read moreI ordered a Filet Mignon "medium" and it was cooked as "medium well". I sent it back to receive another filet mignon that was undercook to "rare". I did not eat it and mentioned it to the manager. The waiter's name is Temo and he was very apologetic but it was not his fault and we told him that. He was a great fantastic waiter and should be commended for his care of his customers. Although they just opened this location, I understand all the staff, including the cooks, are all learning.
