There were a few games that didn't work. I bought one of those cups n when I turned around this little girl was drinking out of my cup. I guess she knew it was mine because she threw it down grabbed the mouse off the straw n ran. Come to find out her mom was sitting in the booth right next to us just paying her kid no mind. Kids were jumping off tables. Another little girl kept taking all of my boys balls n standing in his lane on top of the game walking back and forth. When I asked her to stop her mom finally started paying attention came told her to get off the game she was standing on n turned around and left her right there so she layed across 2 of the games lanes. Kids kept running into my daughter. She now has a bruise on her face. Parents watching them do it kids won't apologize parents won't apologize. Them when I was leaving the kids were trying to get some toys n this little kid with candy running down her face kept standing right in my kids face. My daughter told her to stop. She kept blowing. Her mom was standing right next to her laughing so I told her to stop. Then the mom caught an attitude like I was telling her something wrong. Staff was wonderful and the food was great. I'd just rather visit the fairmont or Wesleyan location where parents teach their children how to act. The staff also replaced the straw and toy on the cup for my daughter. The food was good salad bar was fresh. There weren't many games out of service and they didn't have the little gym like McDonald's like I see at most chuck e cheeses but I see why. If they had one free item in there it would just be...
Read moreI want to start off by thanking Giselle with the utmost sincerity. Yesterday was my son’s first birthday and his mother and I had planned an elaborate day for him that included many sights and stops. You could even say over planned for a one year old. But we hadn’t planned anything for family and friends to get together and celebrate with him. We called the Chuck E. Cheese’s reservation line the day of his birthday hoping to schedule a party for that night, but they informed us that it was absolutely nothing they could do to help make my son’s big day special because we needed to had called at least a day before to set up a reservation. So me, naturally not giving up in the face of adversity, stopped by the Gulfgate location early in the day where I spoke with the on duty manager, Giselle and explained my dilemma. She was so sweet and understanding, and although she could not create a reservation, she insisted that she could find a way to help make his day special in her location. When I returned later that night to celebrate with my son Giselle had kept her word, she had went above and beyond to give us an amazing customer experience. She set up our table decorations herself, put birthday crowns and cups together, put party cards on the kids wrists, and ultimately gave us the complete gift of feeling welcomed and appreciated as people. We had so much fun and enjoyed every moment. From the food to the games to service. Everything was amazing and Giselle helped to make a special day even more...
Read moreI hate Chuckie Cheese, passionately, but my now 6 year old loves it so we had his bday party there Saturday afternoon. And you know, it was absolutely fantastic. They changed things up a bit and have fixed almost all the things that made me loathe the place. We bought a party package and got wrist bands for 12 kids for unlimited play for two hours, No more tokens! You don't have to worry about kids carrying around coin sack weapons or having to fight another parent for taking your kids coin cup only to find your kid left it under the table or them coming back every 15 mins because they used them all on a broken machine. Speaking of the machines, none of them were broken and they were actually clean! I seen someone wiping down a car ride the first time in all my 25 years of Chuckie Cheese experience. The pizza no longer tastes like unloved orphanage food. It was garlic buttery and hot with more than just 3 pepperoni's on the pizza. The staff hosted the party, filled drinks, didn't complain that we kept asking for new cups because the kids would mix theirs up, they helped pass out cake, AND cleaned the party area. All in all it was a great experience, didn't cost much as far as parties usually go and my son was sleep by 7 pm. The only thing left on my list of reasons why I hated the place is because there are children there, lots of children, but hey, nothing is...
