It's sad that I have to update my review but on sunday 01/12/2020 we had a very very bad experience while trying to have dinner with my family in this place, and is sad because we do like the food sadly the staff looks like have no training at all or have any idea of what customer service means, anyway on sunday thanks to the server Stephanie we had a horrible night and it all started because we ordered 3 sandwich combos which consists in a sandwich of your choice, a spring roll and a soup, so I asked for pork grill spring rolls and the server said it will be extra 50 cents extra per spring roll because the pork ones are not a choice in the combo and I look at the menu and it does not specifies which ones are included and which ones are not but so I said ok and I commented to her you know we been coming here since they open this place and no one has tell us about the extra charge (and honestly no one have said anything to us before) to which she just start talking loud and almost screaming at me saying "who tell me who haven't charge you the extra 50 cents because if you tell me right now I will tell my boss and that person will be fire right now" to which I responded I don't know, and she was all exited I guess mad for absolutely no reason because I had agreed to pay the extra money but even when she first got to our table I noticed she already had an attitude but I didn't say anything because I thought maybe she's just having a bad day or whatever, anyways when she did all that I said you know what can we please have someone else to help us to which she replied "oh oh oh of course you can have who ever you want" and left to where all the servers were and oh surprise they started talking between them and we were there just waiting because nobody wanted to go help us I was like omg and she was still talking loud to the point were everyone in the restaurant started to look at us and it was very uncomfortable she was just rude also there was a bearded server guy he kept looking at us and laughing I really don't know what that girl stephanie told them because they were talking in their language but it seemed like they were just laughing about us and no MANAGER I think that's the reason they all were doing whatever they wanted and the end another girl went to take our order but decided to cancel the order and leave the place and is sad because the food is good but if they don't have a manager to handle this kind of situations the place will start going down because as for us I really don't think we are going back specially when there's now a lot of good Pho places around. Read moreI've been eating at this place for years now, but I will no longer give them any more of my money. My wife and I usually order on Tuesday because I like getting the pork sandwich for cheap. Regardless of what she gets, we ALWAYS ask for no cilantro because she has the gene that makes cilantro taste like soap. More than once have they given us her food with cilantro and we've had to take it back to have them remake the order. On one occasion we had to take it back TWICE in one trip because they still put cilantro on her food even after we took it back. 99% of the time we get take out because we just prefer to eat at home. Needless to say, today they gave us her chicken pho with cilantro after we asked for it to be excluded. We didn't check the order until we got home, although frankly we should've checked before we left because this has happened to us so much. We get home and see the cilantro so I call hoping to get a credit for our next order since we go there weekly and they have a phone number linked to our account. The guy on the phone's response to me telling him we had asked for no cilantro was: "what do you want me to do about it?" to which I proceeded to politely ask for credit towards our next order. He said all they could do was replace the pho if we took it back(a 20 minute drive), to which I told him that is extremely inconvenient especially since this was their mistake. My wife and I NEVER make a fuss about our order anywhere we go, even Son Nam who has done our order wrong more often than they do right, but I am just fed up with this place. Read moreWe loved this place... until today. We found out a few weeks ago that they have a sandwich special on Tuesday, we usually go on Fridays and get the Lunch Bahn Mi Combo special. So today we decided to go and enjoy a 1/2 off sandwich. We asked waitress if the 1/2 off special was today and she said yes! She also told us to order any sides (Soup, egg rolls) separately (not the normal lunch combo) because it would be cheaper. We all ordered sandwiches. Service was also slow but we thought that maybe they were just short staffed and did not think anything of it. While checking out we noticed that our sandwiches were not half off and asked why. They informed us AT CHECK OUT that beef sandwiches (which most of us ordered) were not included in the Tuesday special. We told them that when we ask the waitress before we order and she provided us NO details that there were restrictions. The waitress came over and was very rude to us and said, “Since you asked if it was the sandwich special today I assumed that you knew about it and did not need to provide further details". They called the manager and he apologized but said he could not discount the meals. I mentioned that since we were advised to order each item separately we ended up paying more than we would have if we gotten our normal Lunch Banh Mi Combo special, to which he had no response to.
