I live right by this park, only one block over and have for almost four years. It’s a fantastic neighborhood park—just off the main path so it’s largely a community park for the area. It’s a cute little park with baseball fields, a ton of good green space, and some fenced in areas that i can let my dogs run around in off leash when there’s no one else around. It’s also very safe and the people you encounter are usually people from the neighborhood who are all friendly and welcoming. I love to take my dogs here to walk and sniff and play both during the day and even at night when it’s quiet and no one else is there. It never feels unsafe or sketchy and it’s super convenient. Read moreIt is sad to visit this park on the lower southeast side of houston. Although the baseball fields have been upgraded, the children's area consists of two infant swings and two adolescent swings. Thats it! No monkey bars, no jungle gym not even a slide! The only other thing they have is a water spray area that is in need of a thorough cleaning. It is so sad to go to this park and that the children who live in the area do not have the very least of outdoor equipment so that they too could enjoy outdoor exercise and the possibility of learning basic jumping, climbing, swinging, and just good old fashioned fun! I do not recommend this park at all as it is so lacking in everthing...
Read moreSeems and looks lovely but for during the day because at night alone even though parts of it are lit up where need be it's friggn EXTRA erie and so ©®€€¶¥ like seriously THEE MOST disturbing i felt I need protection and was extremely uncomfortable constantly looking forward backwards side to mf side .. omgeezzz I felt so out of place for many reasons I will NEVER revisit at night ... But during the day it's definitely a relaxing place to go to it seems (Possibly haunted)...
