This is a great michaels and the people that works there are wonderful . All I have to say is the people who gives this store a bad review is the ones who wants everything handed to them on a silver plate with gold lace . You want everything for free when you do not get your way you threating this poor people that work there .Someone of these people are the main reason that company are closing down .Number one you want something for noting 2 you do not know how to act when you go into a store you mess up the store and say oh well let them deal with it .3 if you do not get your way then you throw a fit like a little child . Some of you are just selfish mean nasty people .I dare you to take your bussiness to Hobby Lobby and try the stuff you get way with at michaels you would be throw out in the store . Then lets talk about the people who try to use more than one coupon where its said on there One per day but you throw a fight and you like a nine year old and you think they will give it to you . This is what is wrong with this country and the world today . Self in title people . Also there is someone who made a post about one of the people that was working there try to say you was stealing color pens . Well I got news for you I just seen this post and its a very small way because your friends lie on that poor guy .Also the people you was with was stealing . Read moreI normally never have any problems at this location. They're clean and friendly and have a good selection. However, the last time I went there assured that I will be going to the Bunker Hill location from now on.
I had a coupon for 20% off my entire purchase but the cashier told me to hold on to it because, if I spent enough, she had a better deal. So she rung me up then told me she had a $10 of $40 coupon but that I was about $10 off from qualifying for it. So I asked if she could suspend the transaction so I could go get $10 worth of more items. She huffed at me. I'm not sure why she told me about it if she didn't want me to go get more stuff. Did she expect me to materialize $10 worth of merchandise from the ether while standing in front of her register? I don't have that ability. She suspended the transaction and I quickly grabbed more stuff and came back. She scanned my new things and told me to swipe my card, so I did. Then she said "oh wait go to the website" but my card had already gone through, the reciept had already printed. Then she said "you went to fast." Because I did what I was told to do when I was told to do it so somehow it's my fault. Also she didn't have a $10 of $40 coupon. "I have a $10 of $40 coupon" indicates she has a physical coupon or barcode she can scan at the register. If I have to go to a website and do something to retrieve the coupon, then how can she say she has it. She had nothing.
So long story short: Cashier wouldn't use my coupon. Promised a better coupon. Huffed at me when I tried to use the better coupon. Lied about having a better coupon. Then made it my fault.
I spent $10 more than I intended, spent 20% too much for the things I did want to buy, got huffed at, and spent about ten minutes more in the store than I wanted to.
I guarantee she is not paid enough to be...
Read moreI visited this location to purchase a few home decor items. Luckily most of them were on clearance per their placement in the store. To my surprise, the cashier was not able to ring them up at the 70% clearance rate. Not a big deal as the price difference was about $5 or so. However, Elvis went out of his way to provide excellent customer service by addressing my concern of the mislabeled pricing. Unfortunately, his system froze while I was paying and he had to get his manager's assistance to complete the transaction. His manager, Michael, came over and moved us to another register to re-ring up the transaction and he wasn't able to get the right pricing either. That's not even the issue. I was stunned by his mannerism. His demeanor was so unprofessional, unpleasant and uncouth. He was very unkind to Elvis and embarrassed him by claiming he must have done something wrong to give us the 70% clearance rate. It's not about the the money really cos I could give him the $5 extra really but Michael's approach to dealing with me as a customer and his disdainful behavior towards his employee in public was an eye sore. I was wuite embarrassed for Elvis who should have been celebrated for highest level of customer service but rather met disgrace by his so-called supervisor. I have called the district manager to ensure that Elvis doesn't get reprimanded. So please beware of this...
