Sicily Pizza & Pasta — Restaurant in Houston

My father worked for this business for 23 years. His name is Marcelo Gomez. He stopped working for this so called “boss” 6 months ago, and till this day my father has not received his last paycheck or his paystubs so he could file his taxes. My father went to the irs to get the w2, and they said the business never filed it and we aren’t able to get it until the “boss” files it. He was never a good “boss”. Would always pay late, super late. Never gave bonus or recognition for to his employees. Would over work them and promise them overtime pay, and never kept his word. So many current employees here are afraid to take a stand, due to needing the job to provide for their families, but I am taking a stand for my father. Other than that, he’s very dirty with his food. When he cooks, he never washes his hands. He uses his phone, then proceeds to touch the dough. He never does oil change for the fryer until the oil is completely dark, a month after the new oil. When according to the health department, it’s supposed to be done once every week. There’s just so many things wrong with that place & the owner, and since he doesn’t answer my fathers phone calls or messages, hopefully this gets his attention. Do...

Food was just okay. Delivery driver was an absolute disaster. Called me cause he couldn't figure out where my complex was...okay understandable, it's a little weird to get to it...then called again and complained that he still couldn't find it, then did find it, then wanted step by step instructions to find my apartment, so I just directed him to the office and sent my husband to meet him...then called again super snappish because my husband mistakenly went to the gate and when he came back to the office I guess the driver couldn't understand the description I gave him and just treated me like garbage and hung up on me. And then the guy asks my husband if his tip is included in what we paid online! You're lucky it was jerk, cause otherwise you would have gotten a big fat 0. To the owner: ditch your crappy driver. You're in Houston, you can find another one. I worked at a restaurant with delivery drivers and I always give them the benefit of the doubt, but your driver is a s--tlord and is costing you business. If the owner IS the driver, hire a driver, you're costing...

We have ordered from here for the last 4 years. We order quite frequently. For the last two years the food quality has been on the decline. Once we even spoke to the owner. Still we continue to order. It just keeps getting worse. We usually order the same thing and on occasion we may order something else. Tonight we decided to try the pizza roll, which was not a roll, but basically flat bread with something in it. The philly cheese steak which has been good all these years, just was the final straw. Worst philly I have ever gotten from there the meat looked like it had been sitting in a vat, and dried out from exposure. Fries were like the throwaway fries at the bottom of the bag. So displeased! This probably will not be the last time we eat there, because we love the pizza. Ordering anything outside of that is definitely...
