I first attended unity in 1994, and knew I found my church home . I attended for years, though I had a few years away after moving out of town. When I came back, the first day that I attended Howard Caesar was celebrating his last day as senior minister, and retiring.
The church changed dramatically and quickly. It moved away from the founding by Charles and Myrtle Fillmore, and toward Ernest Holmes and Science of Mind.
Over the years the members became more and more about telling you how much they knew and how spiritual they were, books they read, retreats they had attended. And very little mention of the bedrock of Unity's founding.

This is a church where you can feel safe to ask questions regarding the Bible and NOT feel condemned . You are accepted where you are on your spiritual journey and your are NOT forced to be a clone but to be your best self. The music is first class and very diverse! Read moreI have been going to Unity for about four years and I love this church. Unity uses Christianity and Vedanta as a foundation and then ties in teachings from all religions. You will find no fear mongering, judgment, or blaming of others at Unity. They have many great guest speakers from across the nation and Howard Caesar always delivers powerful sermons. The youth program is wonderful and my kids love it there. Everyone is nice and welcoming. I can't believe there are only a handful of reviews....everyone needs to hear the message...
