Serena Village 2 Apartments — Attraction in Houston

Worst place to live ever. Roaches, rude staff, just don’t even consider. Trust me. Apartment robbed. Cops don’t come to the area. Just save yourself and look far far away from this entire area. TRUST ME

Response: First of all, you do not take safety seriously. You didn’t care when our apartment was broken into. You did nothing to help us. I hope whoever reads this reconsiders and doesn’t move in. I will never remove my review.

When I let the office know our apartment was burglarized, we asked for footage on the cameras near our building and they refused to provide access to it. They don’t care about you. There was also a time that the staff made a “mistake” and put a NOTICE TO VACATE on our door even after we paid our rent on time regularly. We NEVER got an apology for that either. The staff doesn’t care about you. Your manager is a rude inconsiderate jerk that would rather argue than make something she did wrong right. If anyone is considering moving here, please don’t. It was an absolute nightmare.

Also, we had to put tape over electrical outlets to keep roaches from coming inside as much. Absolutely disgusting infestation with those tiny roaches. They did not do pest control once in the 7 months I lived there...

I'm a current resident and I would NOT recommend these apartments. My apartment was broken into and after informing them of the police needing the camera surveillance I got the run around. My a/c has been broken since I got here almost a year ago and every time they send someone in they do something minuscule, like changing vents instead of fixing the problem. Its 90 degrees outside and i'm in here with an infant in 80°. The manager and owners are all friends so there's no real leadership and accountability. If you see a good review it's mostlikely from folks they pressured to leave a review the first day. I'm glad I waited that way I could give an honest review. Don't waste your money. We have ants, rats and there are holes and peeling paint everywhere. There's paint on the faux wood floors and the fireplaces doesn't work. Shau time I've usedit my home immediately filled with smoke. Its too many issues to list tbh

Edit: I'm adding on bc I just went to the office and no one was there. They leave early and take extended lunches and they only answer the phone when they're tryingto get you to...

I regret having to write this review, but I feel it is necessary to share my experience. I have given the complex and management team a year to resolve an issue of significant concern to me. Due to an infestation of roaches, I was forced to vacate the apartment after only 5 days.

Initially, we had reached an amicable agreement, that I was under the impression of comprehension but the terms of that agreement were ultimately breached.

I would strongly advise potential residents to spend the extra money and seek out a nicer living situation elsewhere. The apartment did not match the representations made, as the laundry room was unsanitary and there were roaches present throughout the unit. Moreover, the management team, including the regional manager, was dismissive of my concerns.
