I thought I'd try something different today after reading up on this place. I walk into the restaurant and already see a glaring issue. The menu is very limited in what it shows. You'll see things like family packs, chicken sandwiches, dessert and the like but I had to ask the cashier if there were any 2-3 piece meals for a single person. Thankfully there was as I wasn't about to pay for a whole meal, but this is something that should be on the menu. It's not like a secret item.
So in the end I ordered a 4-piece meal with french fries and yucca (fried root) for about $10. Drink costs extra because of course it does and the ice cream machine was broken. By the way, I just wanted to get the chicken itself because I had sides to eat with it at home, but even if I had done that it still would have been the same price. So how was it? Those were probably the most bland french fries I've ever tasted in my life and the yucca wasn't any better. I was given some kind of special sauce to enhance the taste but even then it was mediocre. The chicken however was pretty alright, it's just a different taste I'm not used to.
I was pretty excited to try this place but after seeing how incomplete the menu was, how unfair the pricing can be, how bland the sides taste compared to the chicken plus the fact that you're basically required to get some, and the fact that I can go to Golden Chick and get much better food at a better price I unfortunately have to say I won't be returning...
Read moreI came in on Tues this week because I had never been here and this was not the best experience. Upon ordering the guy Jacob I dealt with was just rude he acted as if he didn't want to help me I was with friends we were really excited to try this place. He really through the whole vibe off I asked to speak to manager and he stated he was the assistant. I politely asked for a store manager and he stated there was not one he's the only manager. So I said okay I came back a few days later and spoke to a charming guy named Fabian whom stated his colleague was a shift manager I voiced my complaint with Fabian whom stated he is a shift manager, stated he would let the GM know . Idk what the issue was or is but to have a employee claim they are a assistant and not be an assistant just appalling . This Jacob guy shouldn't be in any type of position of management as he does not know how to treat guest. I only tried this place because I wanted to place a big order for my company because of him I will not be placing my order and take business else where . I will however give my business because of Fabian if anyone should be an assistant this guy should he's caring understanding and understands the customer.i will literally only come for this guy thank you Fabian...
Read moreI normally dine at a different Campero location but because this location was closer I figured that it shouldn't be an issue. I walked up said and hello and her response was "what do you want to order" The first lady that I interacted with was dismissive while I was trying to place my order she kept saying if that was it as if I was intruding. The lady wasnt nice and treated everyone else courteous she didnt even give me a table number!! The customer behind me even asked why the attitude to the customer. I finally got my food and found that one of my orders was either under or over cooked and was "chewy". The second lady got an attitude as if I wasnt being honest. I simply stated that the other orders were ok I just wanted my money back for the sandwich. She grudgingly gave me my money back but the customer service was absolutely terrible!!!! They made me feel out of place and unwelcomed the entire time.This is by far was one of the worse experiences I've had at Campero. -1 stars would be more fitting if that...
