I would not recommend. This is my second experience of poor service at this location. I ordered the Maki Mono to go, which on doordash describes a Rock and roll, an eel roll, and a California roll. As you can see from the screenshot I posted, the rock and roll contains shrimp tempura, snow crab, avocado, eel sauce and spicy mayo, basically the description of a shaggy dog roll. When I finally sat down to eat, I noticed none of the three rolls match that description. I returned to the store shortly to get a new shaggy dog roll and show them this discrepancy. They admitted that it was not a correct description on doordash, but they were not willing to help me until I asked for a refund. Then, they did not let me keep the maki mono even though I had opened and touched it. I think they thought I was trying to get over on them, but really I was just trying to get the correct food I ordered. Totally unprofessional. This establishment does not care about customer service at all.

I am staying by the nearby hotel for a 6 week training, and let me just say, FLAVOR AND HOT FOOD 😭💗 IYKYK. This is my second time here, I dine alone and it’s a great way to disconnect, have a great meal, and enjoy the vibe. The restaurant has a cute Japanese 80’s feel, there’s a cute little aquarium and chef’s doing hibachi on the other side of the restaurant. I ordered Ichibon chicken and mushroom and it comes with fried rice, miso soup, and a little salad. so good. Comes with panko fried vegetables too (sweet potatoes, onion, bell pepper). It was such a good deal because I got left overs now 🥳 I spent $17, not including tip! I also have had the jalapeño roll, and all the specialty rolls look bomb. The mochi was good too! The matcha one actually had a balanced flavor and the right amount of bitterness. I highly recommend you come here and treat yourself, you deserve it. Especially if you’re in training 😉 good luck ~

Not your traditional Hibachi. The Yaki Tori had a very odd taste, the salmon Hibachi was a thin frozen piece that was very over cooked and some sauce. Fried rice was the most tolerable. Most of the dishes are dusted with random additions to make it more appealing like an 80s french cookbook. Restaurant was dirty and oddly dated, looked like something out of the movie Big trouble in little china. The chairs at the booth were cool. Service is the worst, finding a server when it was me and 1 other table was found to be very difficult. She is then asking why am I ordering certain things, maybe out of curiosity. She then vanished, had to ask for a drink and extra sauce twice now that 2 more people came in she could not handle it. She brings me a refill of iced tea which tasted like a chemical but no ice whatsoever. Too many things went wrong to be an off nkght. Restaurant is poorly run, poor food and below poor service.

I work by Bush IAH so this is the closest and best sushi near me for lunch. I usually love everything, the servers are nice and friendly, the food is hot and fresh, and the lunch specials are reasonably priced. Today, however, was horrible. I came in at lunch time and was seated promptly, my waitress walked up to my table and said "What do you want?". I ordered water and she was already walking away as I was telling her that I was ready to order. I ordered my bento box and she snatched the menu away right out of my hands before I could tell her that I wanted to add a sushi roll. She repeated my order and walked away.

When she brought me my drink, it was Iced Tea, not the water I asked for. She brought it along with the salad, and on my glass was salad dressing that I'm assuming, due to the shape and amount, came off her finger. I did not see her again for the duration of my lunch. Another waiter brought out my sushi roll as well as my bento box. I sat with dirty, empty dishes and an empty glass my entire lunch.

As I was finishing up, I expected her to return and see if I was ready for my check. Nope, nothing. I had to request for my check and a to-go box from the hostess. Another waitress came by and asked if I needed anything and I repeated that I needed my check and a to-go box. Finally, the HOSTESS brought me my check and to-go box, not my waitress. You know who suddenly appeared to pick up my check with the cash? Yep. My waitress.

She gave me her attention a total of 3 times during the course of my meal, even though where I was sitting she had to walk past me to see all of her other guests. She passed by my table every couple minutes or so but never said a word to me or even acknowledged my presence. She was nice and talkative with her other guests, but for some reason, she felt I deserved sub-par service.

I love this restaurant, like I said before. I go by there fairly often for lunch so I'm amazed and frankly, offended for the level of service I...

If you are looking for true hibachi this is not the place to come. We’ve been here once before and got the deluxe for two hibachi. It came with a soup and salad and also ice cream for the both of us. The portions are not bad size, you get a lot for the price. The issue is 1. The water tastes like it came out of a water hose. So therefore all the food has like an odd after taste too. 2. The service is awful. The only time you will see your waiter is when they take your order, besides that you will have to get up to go find someone or flag someone down. 3. We came back because it’s been a few months and we didn’t remember this was the place that had all these issues until we had already ordered. This time all of a sudden you only get a salad and no soup. And you only get one ice cream? Mind you, we had the same exact cook and server. The place was practically empty and the cook was cooking his own food for his lunch at the same time he was...
