This is a great park to visit. Even if you come across this review and don't live nearby this is still worth a drive and there's a great parking lot available and it gives you a nice way to walk through some trees and along the bayou and just take a break from all of our daily distractions! TC Jester Park has become one of my new favorites! If you have kids the playground here looks like a lot of fun! They have a really nice outdoor recreation area with everything from pull-ups, sit-ups, even jumping platforms, it really has it all. My only caution for any visitors - be mindful of the road bike riders who travel along this path - though they all know how to use biking commands such as "passing on the left" I would say that 98% never do. So just be careful with you and your family because they will happily blow by you going 20+ mph and it is an accident waiting to happen. Other than that, come and enjoy this wonderful...
Read moreThe park is excellent, it has a pool, games for children, lots of green areas, a dog park. You just have to be careful, a gang of blacks are stealing a lot from vehicles, the way they operate is; a black man on a bicycle (sometimes walking) watches you when you get out of your vehicle, and they follow you from a distance, if you see something like that run and get back to your car, since the one following you will only be alert when you return, while the others will already be trying to open your vehicle when you turn to return. The one following you will run and return before you, in order to alert those who are trying to steal your belongings in your vehicle. Always watch carefully if when you get out an African American is watching you from a distance and follows you. The best thing is; do not leave anything of value visible inside...
Read moreI'm gonna give it 4 stars only because I noticed a few issues. This was my first time at this dog park and there's so much space for the big dogs, I love it!! Sadly, there was no one there to play with. 1) I'm assuming parking is a bit of an issue but I didn't mind that part because it made us both walk. On the days I have all three dogs, though, I can see that being really stressful. 2) It's a fairweather dog park. I can already tell that if it rains you can't really use it for a few days because there's just so much exposed dirt (mud). 3) there were no doggie bags 😥. I drove 4 hours and wanted a place for my dog to stretch his legs but completely forgot the poop bags! Oops. Positive things: water fountain, lots of room to run and play, great walking trails (for when there are no other pups to play with), and...
