Ray, the owner of Big City Construction and of Big City Cabinets, is very nice and knowledgeable. He has been kind and respectful during my dealings with him.

Ray went above and beyond by providing great service. Without a hitch, he sold me a quality white J&K shaker custom bathroom vanity. However, for my insurance claim it had to be installed by a DIFFERENT contractor that I’ll call C. After C installed the vanity, it needed normal door and drawer adjustments which C should have done but wouldn’t. In addition, turns out C wasn’t qualified and didn’t know how to do the adjustments.

Ray of Big City, came to the rescue. Although Ray had already made me whole by selling the vanity to me, he in addition, went above and beyond and came to my home and made the adjustments himself. Yes, he used his gas and spent his time to come and adjust the vanity even though it was the other company’s responsibility to do so at the time of installation. I was impressed with how skilled and knowledgeable Ray was as he turned the various draw/door dials and screws to move the drawers and doors into alignment. Very impressive to see the results of this vanity’s capacity to align using Ray’s skills. That’s a good product, and awesome on Ray’s part. . It was something to see. We are SO happy with our down-to-studs bathroom remodel! The whole team at Big City Construction was wonderful to work with from start to finish, and we can’t wait to work with them again on our next project.

I originally found Big City Construction on Houzz, where sent a request for more information. Ray sent back a very fast response, and we had a great chat where he gave me transparent expectations and estimated prices. After a visit, Ray was even able to provide me with a 3D rendering of the bathroom, plus a digital copy of the quote before we got started. The itemized invoice with payment plan was very easy to understand.

One we got the demo started, I was so impressed how clean the team kept my home. They put down paper to protect the floors, and plastic barriers to maintain the dust. They even swept up before the left each day.

We experienced a hurricane in the middle of our renovation, and Alberto, Ruben, and the rest of the team went above and beyond to prepare the bathroom before the storm. We were without power for a week, but that’s didn’t stop them from plugging forward as soon as it was safe to get back to work.

We worked with big city construction for our kitchen remodeling project. Ray and the crew are professional, courteous and they get the job done ✅. We are really impressed with their attention to details and their attitude of doing it right the first time. Ray also helped us designed the layout of all the cabinets, island and wet bar. The cool software he uses helped us visualize the design quickly, make changes, and generate the plans, very efficient!! Since we have several angles in the kitchen, it’s tricky to get the semi-custom cabinets fit nicely, but Ray was super patient with us throughout the design and installation process, and the final result turns out beautiful.
