I recently visited Tanglewood Dog Park with my young male dog , who is fully vaccinated, calm, and well-socialized. While leaving the park, another dog (a Golden Retriever) became aggressive, barking and lunging at my dog, and the owner nearly lost control of her leash. My dog remained completely silent and did not react, even though most dogs would naturally bark back in that situation. Despite this, a bystander commented that the incident was caused because my dog is not neutered, which made me feel unfairly blamed. I want to emphasize that my dog interacted peacefully with all the other dogs at the park until this incident occurred. I share this experience because I value Tanglewood Dog Park and believe it should remain a safe and welcoming place, with a focus on responsible handling of dogs that show aggression, rather than unfair judgment toward responsible owners and their...

Park is a favorite spot for the childrens in the city. When a park has a playground for their pets, how good would it be for a per friendly family? Yeah, this park has a pet 🐕 playground, children play areas with fence, a beautiful grassy playground, a trial for everyone to walk around the whole park. Whatelse can we expect? This is all available at no cost. Oh oh, I forgot to mention this, the is a tennis 🎾 court. If you are planning to play in tennis tournaments the you better come there for practice :). Parking spot is limited, but there is an option for road side parking. Bus stop is in the front of the park. So, If you wish to use public transport, it is your best bet. Nearby, there are restaurants with delicious food from various cousines. A pavilion with beach for friends and family to site and share sweet memories. It is not all of it. You should visit the part and share...

Small park with very little shade or grass. There are no real puppy clean up stations - all of the bags there are grocery bags people donated and the trash cans are outside the gate which is not convenient when you have a clean up. There are several sturdy water dishes and a fountain to refill them from.

Other guests are considerate and for the most part clean up after their dogs. Parking can get pretty limited especially during peak hours (around dusk). There is a parking lot with maybe 6 parking spaces and the rest is along the street. I like that this is close to home and Barnaby's is across the street so once your dog gets worn out you can take them with you to go eat dinner or have a beer...

Love this park! Lots of friendly people, extra tennis balls, and a water fountain makes this a fun little getaway for the pups. Sure I guess there could be more equipment or obstacles or stuff for the dogs to run around with, but honestly having a big open field and a lot of shaded spots for the owners that made this park a great place to bring your dog. I like the fence they have installed entering into the dog park. It’s very secure and closes quickly to prevent any dogs from escaping. Easy to find parking. Also a lot of street parking options too. Will be back!

This is a very nice and safe park and playground with a baseball field, two tennis courts, a paved running path and a bark park. The park is clean. There are plenty of benches for sitting, some shade from trees, picnic tables, trash cans and a water fountain. The playground includes nice equipment with both toddler and big kid sets. There is plenty of space for run and play. The parking is free but limited. The playground is wheelchair accessible. No restroom onsite.

This review is of the dog park specifically. Decent sized area with water fountians for both dogs and people. There are benches, a pavilion in the center of the park. A lot of the dog park is dirt from so many dogs playing there, but some areas have grass. I usually prefer to have a separate park for small dogs and large ones, but here they all play together. People are friendly and it's a great neighborhood dog park. We will return.
