Unpleasant is an understatement to describe our stay here. Where to start, the manager of the complex is a complete sweetheart as long as it gets you to move in. Once you have however, good luck getting a hold of her. Her staff is constantly changing and uninformed. If you make the mistake of moving here make sure you get to see your actual apartment so that you're not fooled into believeing it would look like the model you'll be shown. We were sold on the idea that our apartment would have cupboards with a wooden finish, and nicer kitchen lights. Upon moving in it was easy to realize that we were given the standard apartment with white cupboards given a god awful paint job, and your standard white rectangular lights. Maintenance is somewhat quick at responding, but do a half ass job. The area is quiet, but not safe. Two people were mugged and all maintance did about it was leave a note on your door advising you to stay indoors after dark and always have your door locked since there's no security guards patrolling the area. On some nights you can expect the sounds of gunfire and sirens from the surrounding area. For six months they had construction workers blocking parking spaces for the upgrades they were making to the complex. Which was not worth the hassle because the paint job is terrible regardless, they replaced rotting wood with cheap wood. The construction workers caused a leak above my apartment, damaging my bedroom wall, and patio door, as well as the military equipment I had stored in the patio. When I brought up the issue to the manager Kristina, she said with the nastiest attitude that I should have insurance take care of that, since the leak was a freak accident not caused by the workers. Even if that were true, it's her attitude that really put the icing on the cake. Maintenance then painted the wall for no good reason really. The stains are still there and I refuse to have them "fix" it again because all they make is a mess. Speaking to some of my neighbors I realized that most people that live here, moved in because they were in a hurry to find an apartment. If you relate I persuade you to take your time and shop around. My lease is over in about two months and they could not come any quicker. Rent started off at an overpriced $725, and the renewal rate is an outrageous $755. For that same price I've found a two bedroom with much better appliances and a huge town home for even less than that in a much nicer area. I can't wait for this apartment to be nothing more than...

DONT MOVE HERE!!!!!! PLEASE PLEASE LOOK ELSWHERE!!!! This apartment community is just ok... there is nothing spectacular about it. But the tactics that they use to get you to lease should be illegal! First off ive lived here for about 7 months. I was showed a one bedroom flat as that was all they had available to show. I was advised that there would be a one-bedroom townhome and it was in great condition. However, it was not ready to show. I paid all necessary fees to move in without looking at the actual unit (1st mistake) the day before I was due to move in the leasing agent Kim (no longer works here) advised that the unit was ready to view. I was unable to make it on that day. On the day of move in I went in to view the unit and it was so small you couldn't even change your mind in it. There was dead roaches everywhere, paint was chipping and all they did was paint over it. The supposedly "all black" appliances were SPRAY painted black!!! It was literally a hot A** mess! It was just so tacky until it was ridiculous! However, we had no place else to go and the apt manager Kristine acted as if she could care less that I was unsatisfied with the apt as I had signed the lease already. They charge you for water. Your rent is $635 but you end up paying $710 a month because of water!!!! You wont get a bill for about 4 months then all of a sudden you get hit with water bills from $60-90 for a one bedroom with an adult and small child. When you call the manager to get an explanation she is very rude and unprofessional making very rude comments. They charge you for trash and pest control and there are still roaches everywhere. They come from under the cracks of the front door due to it not being sealed properly. We were told that we could have the option to have our unit upgraded when I first moved in and after kim left it never happened. The foundation is cracking and all they do is paint over it as if you wont notice. There is so much caulk on the tub faucet that its just so tacky. Gun shots all the time and ppl getting killed in the apts across the street The school around the corner is horrible (smith Elementary) the school itself is on academic probation for under performing. I would advised you not to move here unless you like being disrespected when you call the office by the manager. The only pro I have is that the grounds are kept up. They are always doing landscaping and blowing leaves on the porch or in my apt because I like to have the door...

DO NOT MOVE here!!! AVOID HEADACHES!!! Honestly Management is very unorganized and unprofessional. Especially Kristina in the leasing office. They tell you one thing, and switch everything around. Apartments in the complex have mold!!! To shut you up, they will come and paint over the mold. My personal items were damaged and all they will do and tell you is to report with your renters ins. They don't care for there residents. Also, I paid $300 for pet fee, and when you sign at move in, form says $150 non-refundable and $150 refundable, with non damage!! I turned in my apartment clean! And spotless!! No refund at all, they will slap you in the face with all kinds of charges!!! Also when I personally came in the apartment asking manager if I could paint my kitchen cabinets because the cabinets looked disgusting , I asked if I could paint them grey she said no, that I could only paint them white, brown, or black. Very excited she wanted to see how it turned out, once I painted black, she even asked for pictures, BUT slaps you IN THE FACE with a charge at move out. Tubs in the restrooms are discussing, they are covered in white paint! Two years complaining that the paint is very slippery, never was addressed. So slippery I myself almost fell, sadly the one with the accident was my husband, he slipped slit his knee, and slightly cracked the tub, after it was never addressed, they will charge you very proudly for the repair!!! Pointless it was to go to corporate. They can careless. But again we're just another angry resident , they don't care. Very sad apartments!! Please avoid them, go somewhere else!!! Gun shots at night, apartments turns into a party once the office is closed. ROACHES and ANTS EVERYWHERE! They broke into the neighbors car and they won't care in the office!!
