I literally just left this location after a horrible experience. I was going through the drive thru when I asked for three warm glazed donuts and an apple filled. However, I got two cold smushed glazed and a cold apple filled donut. We attempted to correct the order twice in the window but was unsuccessful. After going inside to make the same endeavor, I learned that the lady in the window was only giving us the bag the another employee gave her without double checking. Okay no problem, that's understandable when you are in a fast past industry like such Shipleys Donuts. However, the lady from the front counter agitated, grab another donut and threw it in the bag. I said "ma'am could you warm it up for me please?" she stated "there's a microwave right there' I replied I paid for a service and I am simply just asking for the service to be completed" she went on to say some other things that wasn't cool and it got a little unprofessional after that. So, I just asked for my money back, which took some time to get to me through the attitude and communication. After I finally got my money back, I left quietly and now reporting them via review. I hope that at some point, the ladies of this store get it together and make a difference for the better. Other than that I will not be returning to this location until it gets better, and I will be advising my family and friends to do the same. Read moreTerrible experience. Wish I could give ZERO stars. Went through the drive through Monday afternoon 10/8. Bought 6 donuts and used my bank card total charge $5.80. Just happened to check my online banking today 10/12 and saw that they had charged my card twice. Attempted to call and when I could not reach them drove to the location. Went to the counter and spoke with the woman in charge. Explained the situation showed her the receipt and my online bank statement with the two charges. She first stated that it was a charge due to minium CC purchase. I asked to see where it was posted that customers would be charged double? And that I only signed one receipt for $5.80 not two. She then stated that on my ebank page it said the charges were on the 9th not the 8th I brought up the details page where it stated that the puchase was the 8th and it processed the 9th she told me thats not how it works. At that point I said look you have 3 choices, either refund my card the duplicate charge, give me the product you charged me for (6 donuts) or I will call my card company and dispute the charges as duplicate. She said I would need to bring in a paper statement from my bank. At no time did she go check her system for mondays transaction which would have shown the two charges made back to back. If it were another customer or something serious i could've understood but it was just a casual conversation. Then she used the same tissue she handles the phone shes putting on her face and the counter to actually grab our donuts, might as well use her bare hands at that point. When it came to paying she had me reach around behind the register to tap my card cause naturally she couldnt be bothered to do it herself and then just left.
