Y'all, Plant Joy is IT. That's the spot.

Popped in for the first time today and was so upset for not coming sooner! Everywhere your eye travels, it lands on some beautiful plant, or interesting decor. The energy is so good, the vibe is fun, it felt almost like a little happy hour spot filled with cool stuff to buy.

Mellow, funky jazz played while Asia allowed us to ooh and aah over every single thing in the store, and was never overbearing with trying to make a sale.

Asia did helped us make hard decisions, because you'll want everything you see, and she's just adorable, so knowledgeable, and sweet. We will absolutely be back with more friends.

It is also worth mentioning the prices are reasonable and we didn't have sticker shock. Is it as cheap as a wholesale retailer? No, but not by very much more, and did I mention the great vibes and free plant lecture?

Also, we (my adventure partners) decided in the parking lot that y'all (The Plant Project) need a little outdoor area in the back for coffee/tea/wine/desserts.

We were sad to go after we already made our purchases and needed a...

The Plant Project team at Montrose is truly magnificent!! I live out of the state and wanted to send plants to a friend who lives in the Houston area. I coordinated plant decisions, delivery, and purchase over the phone. Kathy was very patient and helpful in messaging me some terrific and beautiful plant options over the phone! She answered so many of my questions late into her work day and had a great attitude. Brittany continued to help me the next day, working hard to figure out a way to get these delivered the same day on last minute notice. She even wrote a message on a greeting card I wanted to include and prepared the plants in a way that was perfect to be delivered and kept in my friend’s house without worrying about watering or repotting the day of. They both were really patient and sweet through all my phone calls and messages, sending me pictures of so many store offerings - really went above and beyond to make it happen! Plus the plants are gorgeous!!! I cannot thank them enough - y’all rock!! Hope to check out the store in person if I visit....

Soooo have you ever found “your” person?! The person you automatically connect with because they just “get” you! Well the Plant Project has now become MY person or maybe I should say my place. I love everything about it. As soon as I walk through the door my day gets better, not only because of the beautiful plants that are surrounding me but the energy and great customer service that I receive from the staff and owners. Bre has always been so welcoming and is really knowledgeable about the plants in her store. You can tell she really has a passion for plants and it comes through with how she cares and loves on the plants. Every purchase I make (which is a lot) I leave learning something new and also with a new plant BABY. While Bre embodies Black culture she also welcomes inclusion and diversity with partnering with those around her and I believe this is truly special. If you haven’t had a chance to check out this Houston location RUN DONT WALK! You won’t be disappointed. A...

The Plant Project...The name itself speaks exactly what this cute shop does. Right when you walk in....there is this warm welcoming from all the different shades of green. You get this vibe like your walking thru your very own sunroom...and your feeling the vibe with all the different types of plants. They’re looking so healthy and vibrating so strong. That you can see how they are loved by their caretaker. Oliver is the go to person when he is there. Great smiles, and knows how to make you feel right at home. Oliver knows each of plants, he will make sure you go home with the right one. I thought they were all right for me.... but my car didn’t agreed lol. So yes I am definitely a loyal customer and yes I will come back often. To take one Plant Project plant home one at a time. I hope to visit Bree in one visit. Love seeing her hard work grow. My first Plant Project baby.
