Ordered two caramelized garlic steak bowls and was very disappointed in the portion of the entrees. Given the price of each bowl, I was upset to see that the bottom of the bowl was visible and did not have what should have been an appropriate quantity of food for the cost. This is a new development from my previous experience at this location and it reflects of shrinkflation that is occurring at this location and other restaurants in the most recent months. If the quantity of the food does not appropriately reflect the price of the entree, I will discontinue my patronage. The rice portion of the bowl was not cooked when I arrived, and I was left no choice but to wait (I did not want to sub the rice for another grain). Aside from the rice not being ready when the bowl should have been made, the restaurant did not alert me to the missing ingredients until after it was originally supposed to be ready.

Ok look don't hate me for this but I always forget to take a before pic of my food. Trust me it was pretty but the flavor! I've never said wow when eating a salad and I couldn't stop complimenting it like it was a lover. If you get any salad get it the way it is supposed to be enjoyed don't mess it up being basic and getting ranch on everything. Trust thr flavor explosion šŸ˜‹. I will order again and again until I turn into a freaking rabbit because this chicken avacado squeeze of lime and that dressing chefs kiss baby. Ok gonna take a drug test real quick to make sure it's not spiked because whoever came up with this one is the salad GOAT. Thank you DoorDash for the recommendations because I've never heard of this place before but will be back.

The ladies were insanely patient with me and answered all my questions. This place checks all the boxes for my healthier lifestyle. (I’m currently on a sugar detox and feel like I can eat a large amount on the menu). Pro-tip - they did just raise the prices of everything not even 24 hours ago, so I had to pay more than expected. And, they don’t have a huge amount of veggies to top your salad. They limit you to four items before charging (excluding the premium items which are an extra charge). The items they do have are said to be of the highest quality. I love that they actually squeezed the lime juice right in front of me.

I can honestly say I am truly in awe of how absolutely terrible this Sweetgreen location has turned out to be. Let’s start with the location, if you’re in the Heights area you can assume that expectations should be exceeded according to customer service representation, a highly respectable environment + freshly prepared food options. I can honestly witness that at the Shepherd Sweetgreen location THAT WILL NEVER be the case if the type of staff that attempts to poorly run this location continues any further. My first experience was on the first week of April where I was extremely tired from a long day of a 9 hour shift + a strenuous workout. I decided to not cook and reward myself since my expectations have always been exceeded in other locations(Cypress + Rice Village). It was about 8:30 PM when I entered the restaurant without being greeted, on top of that the food area was messy and not at all edible. When u asked for tofu + roasted sweet potatoes, the customer representative answered, ā€œit’s too lateā€ ā€œwe don’t have anyā€ ā€œwe’re about to closeā€. I didn’t say anything and I proceeded with choosing other items. As soon as I was about to pay I asked to politely speak to the manager. The African American lady was cordial at first, but as soon as I recommended that not having essential food items for customers should not be an option regardless of the time frame, especially when I had been so used to frequently showing up to other mentioned locations. She rudely responded, ā€œthat’s not my problemā€. ā€œCome earlierā€. I truly wish she would’ve been a manager when I would go to the rice village locations at 8:55 pm after long hours at the Hospital at the medical center location. If that would’ve been the case, you best believe, sis would’ve gotten immediately gotten fired on the spot. YOU NEVER answer to ANY CUSTOMER with that TONE and/or arrogance. I believe the employees, starting with the management team should be dismissed from the Height location immediately unless you all would enjoy losing over 95% of your clientele. Have your new team take a variety of courses before attempting to perform daily duties. My second experience was this past Tuesday night (April the 25th), after a strenuous 8 hour shift, then once again traveling to the hospital, deciding to attempt to give this location one last try. Once again, absolutely no items were fresh, the food area was absolutely disgusting, food literally spilled everywhere + no form of organizational strategies nor structure implemented throughout the restaurant. I can honestly say after 1 year of paying thousands of dollar on small portioned protein bowls, I am absolutely fed up. Fix this issue promptly. Offer an apologize and compensation to your dear customers or matters will continue to get out of control. I am expecting new staff + a call from either of the directors on the marketing board. I will post this review on Instagram/Tik Tok and all other types of platforms to voice my...

It’s taken me a long time to get myself to write this review because I’ve given this location a ton of chances, but I’d avoid this place and just try another location if I were you. The ppl who work here are very nice, which I appreciate, but the drama w this location started on the app, where for a while they were regular out of menu items like avocado, certain types of cheeses, whatever. It was annoying, but ok I let it slide. Then one day I put in an order while I was on a walk, and timed it out so I’d get there in about 20 mins. Once I got there, which took about 20 mins, I had to wait another 30 mins for my food. There were a ton of other ppl waiting too. Again, super annoying, but I get it stuff happens so I let it slide again. Today I put in an order for lunch and was promptly notified that it was received, being prepared and then finally ready for pick up. I got to the location within 8 minutes of the notification saying it would be on the shelf for pickup, but it wasn’t there. When I asked about it, it had to be remade because someone had stolen it, SO ANNOYING but not their fault (although totally preventable). Once I got I home I realized my customization for my order was not correct . That’s enough chances, I’m not going to this...

Never been here before but I parked in front of this location and saw a sign in front for maple glazed brussel sprouts. I proceeded to go in and see a sign on the glass that read Snacks and for the maple glazed brussel sprouts, though just passing by it, saw 4.95. I go to where i’m supposed to order. I ask for the brussel sprouts. the worker informs me she cannot sell the brussel sprouts by themselves, they come with sweet potatoes. AGAIN, IVE NEVER BEEN HERE. I see it is set up as a subway/mod/chipotle style where you say what you want. I’m originally assuming she can’t sell them separately because they’re mixed together and therefore cannot be dished out separately but since I see the bar set up, i’m kind of wondering why I wouldn’t be able to get brussel sprouts SO I ASK, do you scoop the brussel sprouts and then the sweet potatoes? VERY ANNOYED, with a full face of makeup to impress WHO???, she rolls her eyes shut, takes and sighs a deep breath, looks back and me, and condescendingly says Yes ma’am. coooool cool cool cool. I then proceeded to buy nothing and walk out. I don’t know how the hell this place works, and it seems I won’t because I have zero reason to go if this is how pretentious...
