I live a quick 3 min walk away, and I’ve been coming to this place frequently (every 1-2 weeks) since they opened a few years ago. This has become one of me and my friend’s favorite spots in all of Houston. The location is amazing, they have tons of both indoor and outdoor seating depending on what vibes you are going for, and the drinks and food are both great!! They are constantly tweaking the food and drink menu as well so that it stays fresh and interesting. They have dozens of TVs and they are always willing to change it for you. It is also a VERY kid friendly place, and there is a park right next to it as well if the kids need to blow off some steam. Dogs are also allowed on the outdoor patio and they will bring out water for them. There is rarely a time that I go more than 2 weeks without stopping into this place, especially since it’s a great place to work remotely during non-peak hours. I’d also ignore any bad reviews that are older than 6 months ago since they have completely revamped their menu, drinks, and service since then. They also now have a system that lets you order directly from your table with an app, which has sped up their service, but they also still walk around constantly to take orders as well. Also need to give a huge shoutout to Matt, their GM. He is awesome (as is all the staff tbh), and he’s a big reason myself and my friends keep going back as well. Super nice guy! Overall 10/10 place in my opinion, and I’ll always keep coming back!

This has been one of my favorite places to enjoy dinner with my kids and to catch up with friends over a glass of wine — but unfortunately, after our recent experience, we won’t be returning. I tried to order a glass of wine, but the waitress seemed distracted and didn’t hear me. My son tried to help by repeating the order loudly, and her response was to say “Damn” — with an attitude that was completely uncalled for. From that point on, she was cold and dismissive. Every time I said “thank you,” she ignored me. No eye contact. No kindness. Just a bad vibe throughout the entire meal. Despite the poor service, I still left a generous tip — not for her, but because that’s the kind of guest I choose to be. It’s disappointing that a place we’ve loved for so long could make us feel so unwelcome. We won’t be coming back, and I’ll sadly have to find a new favorite spot.

Came here to celebrate my daughters birthday, never heard of the place or the location it was in. The parking lot was confusing especially since we didn't know where we were walking to. From the parking lot, it's hidden and in the back. However if you come from the park side, it's right there in your face. It was a nice surprise to walk up to. We had the whole right side wall seating to ourselves, Our waitress was extremely nice and made sure everyone had what they needed, we are about 20 people+. She checked on us plenty. Food was delicious and the drinks were not weak. Everything came in a good timely manner given there were 3 gatherings going on at the same time. Overall, it was a great experience and we would recommend to anyone.

Stopped while we were out walking. Started to sit outside but decided to move inside so we could see the Astros game better. Took a while to get a waiter. It was SO LOUD that the waiter couldn’t hear us and we couldn’t hear him. We asked if the music/game ;they were alternating during commercials) could be turned down. He said he would ask. We watched him ask the “Director of Operations” who was sitting at the bar drinking with friends and he turned to look at us and nodded but the volume didn’t budge. The Texans game was almost so loud you couldn’t even hear what the announcers were saying. Also, we were one of only 4 tables inside so it wasn’t like the game needed to be ridiculously loud. What the Director of Operations missed by being bellied up to the bar and his back to the door was the 4 groups that came in and turned around and left because of the volume. Sad because it’s a nicely decorated place. About our 3rd time there and have had similar experiences each time. The waiter agreed that the volume was too loud but the Director of Operations clearly didn’t care. Didn’t even bother to ask to talk to him based on his attitude....

Stopped by Highland park on Thursday for an ice cold beer during my evening walk on the heights hike and bike trail. I am a new resident in the area, I moved here from Arkadelphia, Arkansas so I have been trying out local places in the area to find a new hang out. The staff was so friendly! I was not having a great day and the vibe of the restaurant lifted me up! I love the patio area they have. It is right off the bike trail which is really amazing. The restaurant has great food & service. I got the cheeseburger and the mozzarella sticks looked amazing. I will be back to try those. You can definitely tell how much the bartenders care when they make your drinks...they seem highly trained. There are TVs to watch whatever sporting event is on which is a plus. Overall, I enjoyed my experience and I cant wait to go back to give Streak Night a shot which is on Wednesdays and they offer steaks at $25 dollars and 25% off all wine bottles...Ill probably take my bumble date there without telling her...
