Vibe - ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Drinks - ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Food - ⭐️⭐️ For appetizers we got the Pyramids, Esquites and Joyas. The Pyramids lacked flavor. They literally did not taste like anything unless you put the avocado sauce on it. I would have preferred the avocado sauce with chips. The Esquites- It didn't look like the pictures that other people had posted. Their looks like corn cut off the cob. Mine came in a cup with the cheese and peppers on the side. I just noticed that it seems like it was a menu and name change from Elite Ribs to Esquites. I actually wouldn't have gotten it, if I'd known it was going to be corn in a cup. The stunner was the Joyas (oysters). The presentation was amazing and they were good. For my drink, I had the Tuluminati. It was really good with the fresh dragon fruit. Overall, super cute, intimate, ALL OUTDOOR, spot. I would recommend making a reservation because it seats no more than maybe 30 or 40 people at one time. It definitely gives vacation vibes. Come for the drinks.

Finally had the opportunity to try out Casa Nomad as a friend was able to get a reservation. First off, this is a fair weather experience as all their seating is outside on the patio. And seating is limited, hence the rezy. Their cocktails are really good and Ethan even made some one off specials based on our preferences. 5 stars right there. The food was lacking in my personal preference for the coastal Yucatan vibe they are curating, which led me to 3 stars. There just wasn't much flavor in the plates we ordered. The black bean tamales fell really flat, the elote was decent, and the carnitas tacos were good I just still could have used a more "pop" in that taco. The Yucca fries were pretty standard but were like warm and came with no sauce for dipping. Yucca is pretty bland to begin with, so it needs something to dip it into. I was impressed with the amount of vegetarian options they had though. Not somewhere I'm rushing to go back to, but definitely a starter for drinks?

My partner and I visited Casa Nomad on Wednesday, October 20th. We were highly anticipating our visit and excited after waiting for our reservation for a month. Unfortunately, our visit was the most unpleasant dining experience we have ever had.  When making a reservation, it asks about dietary restrictions.  We noted I was vegetarian.  I had looked at the menu saw a few things I could get, including cocktails and dessert, if nothing else.  After telling our server, I was vegetarian, the entire vibe changed.  Our server stated the kitchen could not modify the menu after asking if meat could be left off an entree.  No problem, I still wanted my partner to experience the cuisine.  We asked for a few minutes to look over the menu again.  Upon returning, our server told us we could go across the way and eat at Da Gama (we have and will return for their excellent cuisine).  I've never been in a restaurant and had a server kick us out and send us to another restaurant. We were astounished and immidietley asked for the check. When he brought the check and asked how our experience was, I stated it was lackluster and felt we were being pushed out.  He tells us he has to move the tables along and "make space." The majority of the tables were EMPTY, and we had only been seated for thirty minutes.

The bar manager intervened, and after explaining the situation, she did take care of the bill.  But, again, I have never had such a rude encounter.  The drinks were tasty; however, this is not an establishment I will be patronizing after my dinner...

Absolutely phenomenal place to grab a drink. I do not drink but I was roaming Houston with my bestfriend from Canada and we wandered in for Happy Hour. Rick greeted us warmly and got us seated by the bar. Dim lighting and $10 cocktails so we were down. Little did we know we were in for a wonderful treat.

I got The Prestige and couldn't handle the taste since I usually liked something sweeter. Chris, the bartender and manager was making the drinks. He did not hesistate to remake me a drink that was more up my alley. I enjoyed it thoughly. They use high quality alcohol here. Ten bucks of liquor that will force you to take slow sips, enjoy conversation, sit down and savor the atmosphere.

Chris and Rick took such good care of my friend and I. It was a chilly night and they got us seated by a heat lamp eventually which was so comfortable for the rest of our tipsy evening.

They gave us 2 extra shots on the house and made sure we were doing ok throughout the night. Kept our water cups filled and asked for feedback on our experience. Again, I don't drink but you best bet if I ever do I'm coming to Casa Nomad on Friday Happy Hour.

PS. Eat here to pass the alcohol it's good. We got the Lasagna Mexicana. Take a nap in the car before driving home!

PPS. I highly recommend this spot to locals and visitors alike. Drink responsibly and enjoy the vibe. Great music and and wonderful people who love their...
