TRUNG SALON HAIR EXTENSION — Attraction in Houston

Trung and his staff (Trung for my girlfriend, John and Tommy in my personal experience) are the new secret pro hair stylists in West Houston! My girlfriend and I consider ourselves extremely lucky to have heard about this place from her coworker as we have been going to ML2 in Chinatown for years (one of the most well-known hair salons in Houston).

I'm admittedly a bit ignorant when it comes to my hair care (usually I just ask for a good cut and shampoo with all my previous barbers/stylists) but Trung educated me to the benefits of niacin for improved hair (which I'm learning to appreciate as I get older) and he even recommended hair care products that my meticulous girlfriend likes better than her other Korean (i.e. very expensive) shampoos and conditioners.

I'm shocked that Trung is not only more affordable but actually superior to ML2! They offer balayage dye with exceptional quality and my girlfriend is much happier coming here (both in price and results).

Trung's hair salon has only been here for a year but I suspect this is going to be one of the fastest growing salons in Houston (ML2 y'all better watch out and check your crazy prices)! Their scalp massages (free with any shampoo or dye) are literally the best I've ever experienced in...

This is my second time getting my hair extension from Trung and I am impressed every time I am here. I did shop around for other hair stylists and they all quoted me for ridiculous amount for hair extensions, all claiming their hair is top quality. I went to Trung and he gave a realistic price on hair extension, type of hair quality, how often i should come back to get a touch up, how many packs I should get. He breaks it down and it makes sense. You can also bring your own hair and all he charges is for the service. The price is so affordable that I will get a redo every two or three months.

I was skeptical of Trung hair extension technique at first but now, I am beyond sold and wouldn't do any other technique. His style is easier on my hair roots and I barely feel any knots on my hair unless I touch it.

I have been a patron of this shop for three years and usually go to the same stylist each time (Tina). I have followed her where she goes and she seems to be happy there at Trung Salon. The shop is very clean and the staff as well as owner are always nice. This shop is tidy, organized and professional. It is clear that they have spent money to make our experience there as pleasant as possible. I never see hair on the floor as they sweep and sanitize the chair between each client.
