I come here often! I love your boba and banh mi sandwiches! I've been coming here for two years and I'm always feeling at home once I walk through the door. Every one of the employees are so lovely. Their Basil Calamari is off the chain! (Compared to Long Coffee's Calamari, it is so juicy and flavorful!) Everything about this place is so wonderful, all I want is to watch and witness this place blossom even more! I'm very proud of this place and enjoy the experience everytime. Magic Cup is a part of my daily routine and forever will be! The diner is finally open to dine inside, although I have to say that the patio is such a great place to eat as well and let the kiddos run around! (Not mine though, he's too young and runs into the parking lot hahaha). A Rating! Man .. if I could give this place more stars, it's definitely deserved. The politeness, the cleanliness, the homeliness, the deliciousness, the professionalism... I recommend everyone to give boba a try! "What's boba?" It's a thaiwanese drink with tapioca beads. Mmm hmm! Delish! And try the Basil Calamari and Grilled Chicken bánh mì sandwiches! They make my mouth water just by thinking of them. And come by before 10:30p before the kitchen closes. Because it's so depressing when they hesitantly murmur, "I'm sorry, the kitchen is closed..." And your heart just sinks like omg. I can't eat today if it's not Magic Cup! Haha. Anyways, lemme wrap this up. Come eat at Magic Cup because this place is worth it (◕ᴗ◕✿) AND you get points when you order! All those points rack up and can be used towards fun rewards! I won't tell though, come by and see for yourself! Xoxox, Mira & Joni

Magic cup is a cafe serving coffee, smoothies, tea, and savory snacks. It's also a great study spot with strong wifi, plenty of tables, and some outlets. We ordered the coconut milk tea with boba, fruit tea madness, and churros. The coconut milk tea was creamy and bursting with coconut flavor that was accentuated with real coconut shavings. It gave us relaxing tropical vibes, like sipping a piña colada on the beach. The boba had great bouncy texture and subtle flavor, nothing extraordinary. The fruit tea madness was divisive between us - Alejandro found it a fantastic. Generous servings of diced strawberry, mango, green apple, and clear jelly filled the cup. He found the fruits and tea a good combination of very sweet ripened fruit and tart slightly unripe fruit, leading to a refreshing and balanced sweet-tart drink with complex layers. Esther found the drink overwhelmingly tart and not sweet enough to her liking. As for the churros, we found them overly dry and saturated with granulated sugar. The dipping sauces made them taste better by adding some moisture, but not by much. Overall, we would both highly recommend the coconut milk tea, and we suggest the fruit tea madness to those who are a fan of strong fruity tropical flavors, tartness, and semi-sweetness. I don’t normally crave tapioca and today was just one of those days. Did a tapioca run for the family and wow I totally forgot how expensive these drinks are! 6 drinks for $28! Anyway, I called ahead of time to placed my order so hopefully by the time I got there, grab and go. Well it was a few minutes delayed but no biggie. The workers were were polite and kept assuring it was in the works. I ordered 2 milk teas, 2 avocado smoothies and 2 Oreo shakes. Avocado smoothie looks unpleasant to me but my mom and brother likes it. Both my nieces enjoyed the Oreo shakes. Now to me, the milk tea was underwhelming. I specifically asked for it to not be too sweet. But my milk tea was already pre made in a dispenser.. so they totally disregarded the fact that I asked for less sugar! I mean if you’re just gonna premix everything.. what’s the point of hsving a sign to choose your sugar level? Just sayin’ so my milk tea came out super sweet. Which I don’t like. Honestly, I only took a few sips. Literally not my cup of tea.

--- NK Score = 7.5/10 ---

8/10 = Tables/Atmosphere 8/10 = Drink Quality 8/10 = Variety/Styles 7/10 = Service/Prices (Other Ratings Hidden)

--- Price Range ($2.75 - $5.95) --- --- 16oz (R) and 24oz (L) Drinks --- --- Tapioca = Separate (40 Cents) --- --- Drive-Through To-Go Available --- --- Board And Card Games Available --- --- Parking Accessibility = Good ---

The interior is very big and has a brightness level comparable to an office or work-zone. There's a large quantity of tables and space available for studying and doing work, but the place can be a little noisy when people bring kids or a group of friends play a somewhat loud game. Nice looking interior though!

Drink Quality here can be good or bad depending on what you get. The Special Fruit Teas are a little unexpected in taste, I've had the Tropical Paradise and Strawberry Peach, and they both had a very strong fruit flavor (Not bad, but may take awhile to get used to). The Cha-Watermelon($5.65) was alright though, I had no problem with that if you don't mind the price. I thought their Green Tea Frappe ($4.55) was pretty good, it had an authentic matcha taste that felt refreshing. You could also try their Oolong Sea Foam ($3.85) or any Fruit Smoothies ($4.95), which I thought were pretty fruity although a little too sweet sometimes. The snacks here are pretty decent, but their prices may not be worth it for your wallet (Unless you're Starving).

The Variety here is pretty nice, they have quite a lot of drinks but they're limited to certain flavors (Matcha, Taro, Jasmine, Thai, Coconut, Fruit, and Similar). The Drinks here are usually Fruit Mix, Coffee, and Tea, which do have some differences or add-ons. They also have a variety of different snacks here like Basil Chicken, Kimchi Fries, Muffins, Dumplings, and more!

The service here is generally pretty pleasant from my experience, nothing too amazing, but good enough for me to be happy with. Although the drinks here are usually pretty good, the prices can be a tad bit destructive to your wallet, even worse if the drink didn't meet your expectations, which can happen. All in all, I believe this is a neat place to try, so come by and give it a shot, you may even be enlightened!

Recommendations: Green Tea Frappe ($4.55 - 24oz), nice matcha flavor with a bit of sweetness.

Signed NK...

While I don’t like spreading negative reviews, I felt it was warranted for the lack of effort or concern received toward my delivery order issue.

This was my first order ever from Magic cup. I ordered via the toast delivery app and after the driver got lost and was unable to find our location, they told me that they threw away our order and was in progress on another one. While this was not magic cup’s fault, the first thing I did was reach out to the support on toast to ask them to help resolve this, as it was their driver that messed up. Since my mom was there a few days after, she brought it up with the staff there to see if anything could be done. I honestly didn’t expect anything at all and told her she could do it to see, but I had already accepted the loss with no hard feelings. But the staff did not seem apologetic or care at all. We try to be understanding toward service workers as people give them issues daily, but they didn’t seem to reciprocate. We told them about how Toast asked us to contact them as they don’t have any means to support while the staff their told reversed us back to Toast and tried to just brush it off as not their issue. To keep this review from being longer than it is, it would be nice to see Magic cup can train their staff or provide them with the means to be able to handle unfavorable situations with at least a little compassion or empathy. R and B tea just down the street has messed up with our orders numerous times, but we continue to go there because they never hesitate to make up for it the next time. Although I don’t think I’ll be coming back, I hope magic cup is now aware of what could be improved and considers other instances like this to help resolve for...

This place is the best comfort food/snack/craving. The food is always on point! My favorite employee is Bao, She always so sweet and welcoming the atmosphere is always great vibes when she is around I always see her full of smiles and she’s so helpful. I suggest the shop owner actually pays attention to who they have running the shifts because your staff is either always on the phone and from what I’ve seen magic cup has uniform I never see the shift leaders in uniform and it is never a failing moment when I see them on their phones! This place is obviously on egg shells the type of people being hired are NOT workplace material AND very disrespectful they are very unaware and just standing around most of the time. The only employee I have seen myself with my own eyes that actually welcomes the customers and makes me feel welcomed is BAO NGUYEN. Every time I go i make sure to speak with her because I know I’ll never receive an attitude or a bad vibe. I am amazed at her work ethic after she expressed to me she has 2 jobs! I am amazed at her ability to treat me with dignity and respect. I myself work closely in the food/customer service industry and the efforts I’ve seen given by Ms. Nguyen are impactful!! Magic cup needs to go through a detox and get rid of most of the lazy , disrespectful, inattentive, irresponsible people I have come across when BAO is not on shift! I learned my lesson to only show up if she is on shift! Unbelievable how much these things will go overlooked horrible business! The food is amazing the drinks are amazing but magic cup needs to pay attention to who they hire and value the extraordinary employees who actually...
