Handyman of Hubbard — Local services in Hubbard Township

Google is confused. This review was for Hickory Grill. Handyman is great. They've tried way to hard on the rustic atmosphere to the point where it's just confusing. From the myriad of old clocks at the entrance that don't work and haven't been cleaned in ages to the Buffalo head I sat under that had sauce from some bygone era still in it's fur. The decor is so busy it can't even be properly attended to. The seating was abysmal. If you're going to ask a party of 6 to squeeze into a corner booth that wouldn't seat over 4 comfortably then just politely tell them that it's to busy to seat them today. The food was mediocre at best. If you enjoy large portions this is your place. But it's so extreme I was disgusted by what was brought to the table. And I'm not sure the coffee wasn't actually day old dishwater. Positives?... The bread served to the table...

I will never go back there! Its a shame I was driving over there from Brookfield to support local business. I went to return an item that their guy told me would fit and it wouldn't. The package was opened. the rude girl at the register said i would have to pay a restock fee??? I asked why and she said because it was opened. I said how else am I going to be able to tell if it fits? It was in hard plastic. She said its the store owner rule. So it make zero sense for them to tell me it will fit. Not tell me there is a restocking fee when i bought it. Its a scam! I will now be going to hermitage pa and using lowes and home depot! Its not worth going to this place if they are just going to rip you off. buyer beware!...

Absolutely the rudest, worst experience I've had at any store. I have spent, probably thousands of dollars in that store and my father before me. Never again, and I would NOT recommend going there to anyone else either! I used to love that store and I would frequent them as opposed to big box hardware stores whenever at all possible. I'll never spend another cent in that place after the way my 74 year old mother and I were treated by a couple of their "managers", and I use that term VERY loosely when referring to them. They used to be kind and helpful, a few of their employees have ruined that for them. Zero stars but I had to put one to post this truthful review. They don't deserve...
