Bartlett Park is an incredible 27.73-acres park right in the middle of town. There is ample parking on the street, a beautiful hiking spot or place to ride your bike (but be cautious of pedestrians because many people jog here!) Dog walking is easy here since there is no open space the path keeps people moving. Its extremely scenic in the park and the surrounding area. Bird species are plentiful and likely some local coyotes live closeby. 🚻🚫 No Restrooms 🐕 This park is to bring your dogs for a walk 🏞 Large Open Area (like a preserve) 🌳 Lots of Trees for shade 🦋 Nature Trail 👣 🚗 Parking on the street is ample at all entrances 💧🚫 No Water Fountain 🗑 Trash bin at entrance 🛝 🚫 No Playground at this park As far as I'm concerned this is another one of Huntington Beach's top ten parks and BEST KEPT SECRETS! Despite no amenities this park offers the charm with its introduction back to nature despite being in the middle of the city. Personally this park is worth a drive to and I hope the city decides to invest in a Restroom 🚻 or Water 💧 Fountain here but there is shopping nearby and you can ask to use the theirs if needed.

It's pretty scary out here with all the goblins as it is a vortex for Gremlins and nor do Wells... I'm trying to capture phenomenon with a digital camera and I have my microphone recording ghostly sounds the city needs to bring a kahuna from the islands and a Catholic priest and probably some witches wicker to bless this place.

Pros: Great smaller trail. They clear the brush regularly so you can walk easily on the trails. Some steeper parts for X-games cyclists. Lots of dogs. Kid-friendly. Easy free street parking or in free public lots. Cons: No water fountain or restroom. Tent person. Trash. Pick up after your dog.

We are a residents of HB city near on Bartlett Park HB. We lived near the entrance of the park on the North/East side. My wife and I sometimes take out our French Bull/Terrier for walks in the morning and evenings. My wife NEVER goes by her self, because she’s afraid of too many vagabonds/Homeless Psychic’s sleeping throwing away to much trash all around the park. The city of Huntington Beach should really need to clean it up; ALL of these individuals from our supposedly safe area. Furthermore, HB parks and recreation is not doing a good JOB in adding additional trash cans there are only 4 Four trash cans located throughout the entire park. Please add more waste dog bags and more caution signs for people to pickup there Caninos waste will make it a better park enjoyment. Thank you for your pronto...

Just another neat hidden gem we came across that makes you feel like you're not in the city anymore even though you're right in the middle of one! Right next to the oldest house built in Huntington Beach, Bartlett Park is a great place to walk your dogs peacefully and go on an easy hike without having to drive far out into the countryside or mountains.

Another plus is that this place is relatively safe to travel to on your own in the daytime, as there's no rattlesnakes, coyotes, or wildcats! Just squirrels hehe and the occasional homeless person. There's ample parking in the parking lots nearby as well. We'd definitely come back here again...
