Coming from a local and a former waitress - this was some of the worst customer service I think I have ever experienced. Me and my family visited for the first time Sunday May 21st.
After showing up at 8pm, we waited 20 minutes and no one came to take our order. I went to the bar to see if we were supposed to order from there since it had been so long…and watched them proceed to serve their friends (who had walked in after I was already standing at the bar waiting) before eventually coming over to me and letting me know they would come to the table shortly. When we were finally able to order, the food came out one by one (apps and entrees all at different times) and the waitress slammed them down in the middle of the table and walked away without words.
When we thought we may have had an order mistake, our waitress rudely said “that’s what you’re ordered” and walked away. We then ate for half an hour while we had zero interaction with wait staff. No one checked in to see if the food was good, or if we needed anything else (waters would have been great). We had to again, go to the bar a second time to order another round of drinks where we were met with eye rolls and attitude and told that it had to be the last round because they were closing (regardless of the fact that google said they were open for another 2 hours and they had multiple tables there and bar seating was half full).
While trying to remain positive and finish our food, the wait staff proceeded to play “The Closing Song” by Red Peters and loudly sing behind the bar “You don't have to go home, But you can't stay here. Now you're making me mad, You gonna make me swear. Get the f* outta here” we got up to leave after chugging our drinks because we felt so uncomfortable, and had to stand at the door for a full five minutes before they could be bothered to close our tab.
I have never felt more uncomfortable or unwanted in a restaurant before. It’s a shame because the space itself was cool and the food wasn’t bad. Wet Dog Tavern should be much more selective about who they hire to represent...

Unfortunately, I had a horrible experience at Wet Dog Tavern. I recently found out about this place and fell in love with it. So I went back for a second time thinking that it would be good vibes.
When I first went there, the bartender, Ashley was okay and I was friendly to her but she was very pushy. However, this second time it became evident she is intoxicated due to her slurred speech, pushiness, and inability to correctly take my order.
Ashley charged me food that I did not order, and Jessie, the other bartender, told her that she had done that. She said it was okay that she would pay for it and they took the food away. This was very awkward for me so I closed my tab. Ashley continued to offer to sell me $4 well drink and I declined but she was very persistent. Given that I had already felt uncomfortable, I rushed to pay, I realized they had not removed the food that was incorrectly charged to me. I didn't realize it until I left.
I was annoyed by the over charge because of Ashley's behaviors and lack of customer service. It was only 8pm on 2/25/22 and it was not busy at all so this was even more concerning.
I write this review as growth for you and your business and wish you the best. I see potential, and hope that the owners can help make this...
Read moreThe tater tots are totally titular! The ranch is thicc and creamy. The carnitas is juicy and moist. The fresh menu items like the poke bowl are a fashionably culinary delight and therefore fre$h AF. The southern style chicken fried sandwich is my favorite, and to make things even better they carry Red Beard's hot sauce here which goes great with it. The staff and service deserve honorable mention. Great pawsitive energy and I never felt ignored. Most dog friendly bar on Main st. If you like petting other people's dogs this is your spot. I even got invited to a dog's wedding. Petunia is getting married to Gunther guys! He's a good boy! There's lots of open air here and fun games to play like Jenga. The drinks are dank too. The electric avenue is lit, and even the bloody mary came with their house made beef jerky. If you're a baller ona budget, the 2$ Jello shots will make you Jiggle Jiggle. A lot of people show up for the Karaoke on Friday night, and its a great vibe. The place may even vibrate. Best...
