Huntington Central Park Equestrian Center — Attraction in Huntington Beach

The worst possible atmosphere for animals and people. The poorly ran center is a beautiful spot filled with potential to be a diamond for those individuals that aspire to be as well as those that are, Equestrians . A facility that truly gives HB a black eye. The high school type gossip and accusations fanned by borders and staff alike compounded by unsolicited advice of others makes one very cautious not to interact with anyone on the property for fear of being a target and eventually ran off or threatened by staff . You must either belong to the cliques or be targeted. Further, many times I have found that services that I pay high premiums for are not delivered and my animal suffers. They employ undocumented individuals paying them next to nothing whilst the rest better pay on time or face a locked stall when arriving . As I write this review I can’t help but wonder what sort of retaliation will result . It always does . I am however so disappointed and discouraged by the actions of the management at this facility that I don’t care . Something has got to be done . Someone needs to say something . The negative reviews I have read are spot on . Shame on you HB for allowing these...

My first visit here was nice, primarily to watch my grandchildren feed a horse owned by a friend. My granddaughter loves horses, so we also got information on riding lessons. As expected, it was dusty and stinky, but the horses seemed comfortable and happy! Some of the horses were quite beautiful and elegant, and it was enjoyable watching the workers feed, care for, and ride them. Looking forward to...

Have boarded horses here for over 25 years. Fantastic facility, great attention to detail, good footing everywhere, and the only place I would want to keep my horses. Such a benefit to Huntington Beach to have a facility where the public can also enjoy horses.
