Adam and his team were responsive, professional, and had the highest integrity. I set up the estate sale remotely and he worked with me to accommodate my timeline. He researched my Dad’s eclectic belongings to accurately price them and created the buzz we needed to have a successful sale. I trust Adam and his team completely to do the right thing, to maximize the chances of success and to treat their customers with empathy and dignity. This family-run, second-hand mid-century modern furniture and housewares shop is hands down the best in all of Orange County. Their vintage inventory is spectacular, and new items are constantly being added. Their care and passion for finding well-preserved, unique, and rare pieces are unmatched, and their price points are extremely fair for the high quality they offer (especially compared to many overpriced OC vintage shops and markets).

I bought a beautiful Arne Wahl Iversen (Danish teak, 1960s) dresser back in September 2024. Adam delivered and reassembled the dresser to my Costa Mesa home incredibly quickly. He has also been extremely responsive and informative when I have messaged their Instagram account (@inretrospectoc) about items I’m looking for in the future.
