Read moreOne single "regular" charging station in the entire parking lot and it was being used by an employee the entire day! I went three times in one day to Trader Joe's (once on my way to work to grab some breakfast, at lunch, and then on my way home in the hopes of being able to pick up a bit of a charge for the long drive home) and each time there was the same car sitting there, plugged in, finished charging (obviously, since the last trip there was 6 1/2 hours later), and nobody around. There isn't a single store there where one would be shopping for over 6 1/2 hours. Therefore obviously an employee taking up a paying customer's space. I was rather far from home that day and had only a little charge left on my car, making me wonder if I would be able to make it home without turtling. A bit of a charge while shopping definitely would have helped but since an employee decided it was their own personal space, I couldn't do that and had to limp home. Problem would be resolved if there were a lot more spaces to accommodate the ever growing number of electric cars, a policy in place regarding employees or even customers who "camp out" unnecessarily at a charging station just because it's a closer walk into the store, and maybe some enforcement of this rule by a patrol person. Thank you, at least, for installing even the one. That, in itself, is...
