Lifeguard Tower 14 — Attraction in Huntington Beach

At Sunset Beach down the way I think they're HB lifeguards as well but sometimes they are too quick to jump b/c they think that you're having trouble just because of your splashing around a little bit... I'm from the Midwest ... But have been here in Southern Cal for many many years now ( and also lived in Hawaii for a while so I know my beaches , 🤠😎trust me) but I still have a little bit of Midwest in me and we like to Splash in the water, not Just sit on surfboards, 🏄🏄‍♀️🏄‍♂️ and that doesn't mean we're having trouble . so just a little tip for any lifeguards: I can swim .. & I love to body surf...and sometimes I go with the current (the strong side current like a river I just go with it and then I enjoy the walk back up the beach) and 99.9% of the time I am fine, just fine ...you don't need me to rescue me... in Fact I've never needed to be rescued ...thank you very much. What the lifeguards really need to do is have a universal unique arm motion so that people who really need help can signal they need help, or try to....
