Point 11 Persian Grill — Restaurant in Huntington Beach

Search no further this is the best Peruvian food in Huntington Beach! This restaurant is a treasure trove! It's unique and so tasty. It is a very small restaurant so make sure you don't go past it! They have outdoor and indoor seating available as well as take out. Everything is delicious here but so far my favorites are the chicken skewers with chimichurri sauce, their choclo con queso ( Peru's giant corn with cheese) and their fried plantains! The chicken is moist and juicy paired nicely with their marinade, the skewers come with perfectly tender potatoes, large Peruvian corn kernels and a house salad. This is my first time trying the corn with cheese and it was heavenly! And the plantains were the best part, super hot and naturally sweet, these fried plantains are a must when you come to Point 11!! The food takes some time to cook so I recommend ordering ahead but either way whether you order in the restaurant or over the phone the food is worth the wait. I had the beef and chicken Koobideh with basmati saffron rice and a tomato. everything was so good and iran/persian food is one of my favorites. I should have given you five stars for the food but was confused by the amount of flat bread I received

The only thing that I didn't understand or like is the 6 super tiny square pieces of bread which were the size of a tortilla chip and delicious. This wasn't enough for the whole meal and only enough for barely a quarter of my kebabs and rice. Totally confused as to why you would be rationing out the bread as if you were going to run out. I never had this issue before.

I question if I would go back because of this, I didn't understand why. Please let me know, I am very interested for the restaurant to rationalize this, maybe there is a good reason and would imagine you have heard this before.

WOW! I called in an order over the phone and the lady who took my order was friendly and made sure my order was taken accurately. I then arrived a few minutes ahead of the quoted pickup time and was able to witness the care and pride they take in the preparation of the food they serve. They also have a sign displayed talking about where they source their chicken; continues to show they care about the quality of ingredients as well! In the end, the food was absolutely fantastic; chicken was seasoned and cooked perfectly, the fried plantains were sweet and again cooked perfectly, the salad was fresh, the sauces were bomb, and the Peruvian cookie for dessert was delish!
