I can hear the engine pur as we climb the steepest hill I know. I reach the tippie top and the car begins to freely glide down. Im anticipating luscious green pastures guarded by brown picket fences. I see cows peacefully grazing and basking in the summer sun. The sounds of the city become soft. Car horns are now a cow's Moooo, a bluejay's melody flows through my ears.... the hills draw close and pastors turn to trees. A sense of relaxation overwhelms my body for Im completely engaged in the atmosphere that surrounds me. I feel a sense of home in my body. Read moreWe went to Red Robin at Valley Bend today. Seated promptly. Of course, it being Sunday it was very noisy and fairly crowded. Server was prompt and order was taken and soon after we were served. No napkins but the manager brought us some, not enough, but some. Evidently I was not in the mood for a burger because to me it was tasteless. Had no taste at all. By the way their burgers are way overpriced. I received 8 fries, yes I know they advertise bottomless fries, but 8 was enough. Never cared too much for fries. I guess what I am trying to say is I did not enjoy my visit to Red Robin. Read moreParking lot is FULL of trash first thing before opening. I'm not sure why, shouldn't they clean the parking lot at the end of the day? Although they advertise "dinner and a movie", there is no DINNER, just finger food. Priced as expensive as any other theatre. The seats are oversized and recline. Very comfortable. I even bring my own throw blanket. You pick your seats when you buy your tickets, so if you purchase ahead of time, you are able to get the seats of your choice. Overall, it's a decent place.
