Spring of 2014 was my first semester and it was okay. The professors are what makes me want to come back, they are all great! I have issues with the way the school is being run, but I just go to school and go home, I try not to engage myself with all of the problems with the administration if I don't have to, Anyone looking to attend Chicago State, I would say to come because the cost is so cheap, the professors are great, and every school has problems, why not pick one close to home! * I'm increasing the stars because I am really liking the online courses too! * Anyone thinking about attending school at CSU, I suggest you come tour the campus and talk to students, you would really like it. This is THEE MOST INCOMPETENT University I have ever been too!!! Majority of the staff always have attitudes and are very rude. You can never get the answer your looking for. The University as a whole is VERY UNORGANIZED! Certain departments are never open due to staff shortage (This should never affect students!)DO NOT SPEND YOUR FINANCIAL AID OR MONEY HERE!! They are supposed to be closing in May! This would have been my first semester here. Every time I come on campus there is always a negative presence there. This is not the kind of University I can focus on getting a education in! Not to mention the University itself is VERY ran down! It looks like a DUMP!! We had a fantastic time today photographing the Chicago State University Child Care Program for their graduation and pre-K class—and we’re still smiling from all the joy and pride we witnessed!
This is a truly special program, housed in a state-of-the-art facility with a brand-new wing dedicated to infants and toddlers opening soon. The center is thoughtfully designed, beautifully maintained, and built to support early learners at every stage.
