Stony Island Plaza — Attraction in Hyde Park Township

Ross has the worst worker / management EVER! I arrived at the store in the Stony Island Plaza at 6:52am , I found my item & was in at the register at 7:02PM . The manager of the shift told them to count down their drawers knowingly I was in the building before 7pm . I’ve never shopped at any store in America and was treated the way I was at this location today. I am a constant shopper here and Ross and that was so not pleasant to me! I understand it’s Friday and they are ready to go home but my shirt & lashes in a pack would have not took any longer . I’ve never wrote and review in my life so I absolutely want you to know what’s going on when us shoppers are in the store before closing time! EVERY CUSTOMER SHOULD BE SERVED as long as they as in the building before the DOOEA LOCK AT 7pm . The store doors should NOT be locked at 6:55 nor should we be getting yelled at over the microphone at 6:58 stating “ if we not up front when the employee finishing ringing this big order up you will never be purchasing “ YET AGAIN I ARRIVED TO THE STORE...

I really like this Jewel it has what I need and everyone is very friendly and patient. Some customers refuse to follow store guidance. Jewel has outlined arrows in the aisles on the floor to make shopping safer and easier during the covid-19 pandemic. Selfish customers are only thinking about themselves and not their fellow man. Also, the mall itself has a variety os stores and take out restaurants, a bank, and a senior medical center. If you want the mall to last throw away your used latex gloves, return your carts to the cart bins, put your trash in the garbage cans and drive in the direction of the arrows in the parking lot. Its not hard to be courteous...

Me and my daughter were followed around the whole entire store. Even when we went to the restroom, one of the security guards had the nerve to go open the door. I will never return to this site. Even left everything I was going to purchase because I turned around for assistance and the same security officer was whispering in the helpers ear.
