The venue was beautiful however there was a lot of miscommunication which made things stressful and difficult. I would just make extra sure what each thing entails before purchasing such as decorating, cleaning, catering and so forth. There also seemed to be a lot of large fees as well such as $300 just to have outside caterers. The owner said there wouldn't be extra fees if we got catered from her which we ended up doing because we didn't want to have to pay an extra $300 but we also weren't able to take the leftovers home which was a lot because about a quarter of our guests couldn't make it last minute and we were to have 136 people. Another strange thing was that there was a mandated $300 fee just to have alcohol there and another mandated $300 clean up fee for alcohol but after the wedding we were told to clean up all the alcohol and take the garbage out because they couldn't clean up glass. They also told us that if any of us spilled liquid on the floor we would have to pay another fee so I was very confused why they had a mandated $300 fee for having alcohol there.. Another one was, I was told if I paid to have the place decorated by the venue then I could use all of the decorations they offer but when I went over the decorations with them the day before for what I wanted she told me the "extra decorations" such as wanting a decorated hectagon arch by the window should cost an extra $150 but she did it for free.. which was nice of her but also in the beginning I was told all of the decorations would've been free if I paid the venue to decorate which cost me already $500. And all of this does not include the $1500 I paid for the actual venue and the $2000 I paid for catering from the owner. There was just a lot of stressful surprises at this venue, so if you choose to have your wedding there, I would just make extra sure what the details are of what you're paying...

Update: the owner called us and apologized for the miscommunication and offered to refund us some of the money back. I didn't take it but just asked her to be more careful with...

Edit: I would like to just point out how distasteful and disrespectful it is to talk about clients financial situations in a response to a review publicly. Plus you also called him out by name which makes it so much worse. I understand you may be hurt by my review, even if I wasn't the client. I may not have all the knowledge of the transaction/contract, but I'm still able to review the place I visited and share my thoughts and experience with those that choose to read it.

The Arbor was very pretty, but WAY overpriced for what you get! I was not a fan of the owner. I felt that she was not a very nice or genuine person. For the price that was paid to use this space, I feel that there should have been more included. All that was included was just the space, tables, and chairs. We were even told that we had to take out our own garbage. If you decide to choose this place for your next event, make sure to carefully read the contract and get the full price up front. We were hit with an extra cost that basically doubled the price we thought we were going to pay. Also, the sound system basically didn't work for most of the wedding. A song was on repeat for a very long time and we were unable to locate the owner to fix...

The Arbor in Idaho Falls is a truly magical place—a hidden treasure that feels almost protected for those fortunate enough to enter. From the very beginning, I felt guided to this special space. The stained glass windows provide an ethereal atmosphere that made our event uniquely heart-centered and filled with love.

Working with Sherri and her team was a wonderful experience. Sherri was incredibly accommodating, understanding, and genuinely kind. She listened to all my ideas, went above and beyond to help with table arrangements and centerpieces, and was always responsive to my messages. Her dedication and attention to detail ensured everything was perfect for our gathering.

I wholeheartedly recommend The Arbor to anyone looking for a venue that radiates magic and warmth. It’s a place where memories are created, and the energy is truly unforgettable. Book it for a future event. You...
