The main bathrooms are NOT wheelchair accessible. However, I'm not in a wheelchair and I'm good with that. The seats are okay as the fabric is thickweaved and retains body heat just fine. I came to see Brian Regan. He's a comedian. But, back to the seats. Mine was pretty nice. Actually, I want to talk about the drinking I'm going to do after the show. I bought Miller Lite, Huckleberry Cream Ale, and vodka. I'm thinking about having a few red beers at first and then a few bloody Mary's after that. And then, who knows where the night will go. Hopefully, I'll have a good time. I'll be drinking at home so I won't have to worry about taking a cab anywhere. It's always nice to know that I won't be getting a DUI when I drink at home. I'll probably play Batman Arkham City on PS3 at some point during the night. Come to think of it, I probably won't. My wife just read this review. She said I am a spaz. I don't really know if I'm as much of a spaz as she thinks I am. It's not like I'm going to make an a** of myself here tonight. After all, we're pretty far back in the auditorium. There is a lady sitting next to me who told her husband that she almost came to the show in her scrubs. I wonder what she does for work? Maybe she is a nurse. Maybe she's a CPA. Wait... CPA's don't wear scrubs, do they? Oh well, she does smell good, however. I like...
Read moreWe went to see the Swan Lake performed by the Grand Kyiv Ballet. The ballet was awesome, one of the best I’ve seen. The dancers were so skilled and professional. I love the ballet so much. I cannot say anything bad about the ballet. However, the management of the Center was awful. The bathrooms and the inside of the theater were very dirty, they didn’t look clean or good. When we got it there was a QR code with the program, where it said “scan for the program” but I think it was a scam since a guy told us to not scan it. I think this is all management’s fault and not the ballet organization. They should treat foreign professional dancers with more professionalism than giving them a place to perform that does not meet the standards of a ballet environment. Ballet company 5/5,...
Read moreWe came here for the matinee of "The Forgotten Carols" by Michael McLean. The picture is from our seats in the nose bleed section, one row from the back of the balcony. It shows that the light bar blocks the view of the back parts of the stage.
The play was TERRIFIC! We left feeling uplifted and ready to have a Christ filled Christmas!
There is no elevator in this venue so there were tons of stairs to be climbed to get to the balcony and another ton to our seats. If you have mobility problems make sure you have good seats to accommodate you. There were also a flight of stairs to the front door. I didn't see a ramp, but I didn't look for one either. 😕
We totally recommend this play and the venue...
