What a Wonderful find in Idaho Falls! The food here was better than we expected! We ordered two burritos, a carne asada and a carnitas burrito. The tortillas were homemade, They were full of savory meat. And they had a wonderful fresh salsa bar to add in an extra kick of heat. I preferred the taste of the carnitas burrito because it contained a mixture of meat beans rice and cheese. But the carne asada burrito was what truly shocked us and made this meal so memorable. I don't think I've ever had a burrito with that much quality meat in it. We were so full and happy after eating our lunch. The service was pretty fast and friendly. We were lucky to have got there right before a line formed. So I can imagine the others had more of a wait. The ambiance was nice with large indoor plants, ceiling fans, and Mexican artwork on the walls. There was plenty of seating that could accommodate a large crowd. The only downside I noticed was that the soda machine was pretty dirty and so I was nervous about consuming the soda. Hopefully they will work cleaning up the soda nozzles into their cleaning routine. The seating area, salsa bar, and tables were clean so I didn't let it bother me. I didn't use the restroom so I can't comment about it. After we ordered our soda I noticed they had some nice Mexican drinks, like horchata and coconut. I will definitely try those next time we come. I'm looking forward to taking my son there on his upcoming birthday. So happy we found a great Mexican restaurant here so close to home! Thank you to the owners for providing this dining...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI had a great meal here 3 years ago. It was awesome! Beware of full construction on the route, 10 foot drop off on one side of the road. Staff girl was...realiativly friendly. They were all tired from everything. Gotta take that into consideration. The menu is so confusing I almost just left, blurry pictures with hand writing? Went ahead with #10 double enchilada + something else carryout +1 extra spit cup of gaucamoli "toothpaste" terrible!! Not sure if it was even real. The entire double enchilada go box was a mixed up mashed up mess! It tasted ok...had to nuke it it at the hotel ...just in case. Not the cleanest place for sure. Price was good...too bad the food was so disappointing after driving so far. Never again for me. Chili's or Applebees from now on. I learned the hard way on this one. Shame it was so over rated and barely edible. No Salsa or chips offered....just a mashed up mess of something you may get down in Wenden Arizona. They should close it, clean that place up and remodel the entire location. I know the locals like that place as the food is recommended. Trust me....its a run down late night last resort for Mexican food. Too Bad...Nice People working dam hard. There you have it. Dislike giving an...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIf I could give zero stars, I would. I'm one of those people who doesn't feel strongly compelled to write a review for anything, except for when I have a particularly positive experience but WOW. WOW!!! My boyfriend and I got HEINOUS food poisoning from this establishment, and we have pretty tough stomachs. I should've known something was off when the guacamole wasn't "real" guacamole, and turned to him and said "what do you think this is?" and he suggested it was some sort of guacamole from a squirt bottle (which looked like it could be the case). I'm all about dive-y, hole in the wall Mexican places because they're typically the best...BUT THIS PLACE...this place is SUSPECT. Not to mention, the rolled tacos I ordered were essentially glorified taquitos you get from the grocery store. Thankfully, we don't live in the area and will never return but MAN. I would NOT recommend unless you have several days to spend puking your guts out every 20 minutes. I am scarred -- we're still kind...
