The Rose Shop - Reception Center (There aren't very many reviews about the reception-aspect... and I know that when I was looking here, I wanted more details). Here was my (very detailed) wedding reception experience with the Rose Shop:
The Rose Shop was - p e r f e c t - ! I've been to a few reception centers where it just felt way too big and empty.. I was in search of a reception center that was more cozy & brought more people closer together - so this was the place. (My wedding was in January, so I had to pick something indoors). When you walk in, the place smells fresh with life- the plant life and flowers. It is a beautiful setup and it almost has a European-street cafe feel, which made it more fun! I absolutely loved the European-style vibe. The waterfall/fish pond also added to the beauty of it all. I loved the cozy-feel of how close we could all be to each other and be able to actually bond with those we love and whom we invited. I was honestly a little worried that it would be too small for as many people as we invited, because yes, it is a little smaller than the huge ones. But it easily fit a few hundred people at one time, who were in and out during the reception. (it was full of people, but it didn't feel crammed or anything).
I cannot express how amazing it was, or how beautifully it turned out to be.. BUT, I can express how pleased I was to go here. I can promise that the Rose Shop also had the - b e s t - price around town. I tried 4-5 other places.. and out of them all, this was the cheapest, most beautiful & cozy, and offered the most add-ons with no extra price (table cloths in your colors, bluetooth speakers for a playlist, use the tv for a slideshow). All of the other places were extra money per table cloth, or to use the tv/speakers, etc. On top of that, the starting price at the other centers was more than the Rose Shop's final price.
If you cannot tell, I am very pleased with my decision and hope others love it, just as...
Read moreOrdered Valentine's day flowers Feb, 13 2020 noticed the delivery time wasn't correct so I called right at opening 8a.m. the next day and was told my order was the 4th person on the delivery list and it would be arriving shortly. After waiting 6 hours I called again, was told by the same person he mistaken me for another delivery to that same adress (which turned out to be a lie after asking) but he had them in his hand and was going to leave that second. After another half hour passed I left work to see what was going on and to take the flowers myself. I noticed the same flower arrangement I ordered walking out the door into a pickup truck, the guy at the counter told me they were seconds from delivery and I explained its been almost 7 hours and his response was to shrug and say "were doing what we can, no guarantees" and walked to the back. Drove to the delivery spot that happens to be 3 blocks from the rose shop and waited another 15 min. For that same pickup I seen earlier drop off the flowers.. when you spend 100 dollars on some flowers for someone, you expect them to at least give you an exact e.t.a. or offer up a refund if they screw up and deliver them at closing time. Instead you get a no guarantee shrug or a...
Read moreThis is the second time in as many years I have used these folks. Amazing customer service. Last year I flubbed my first online order and couldn't figure out how to fix it and correctly placed a second order thinking I'd just have to eat the cost of the first one. Natalie promptly called me noticing the error and was able to get things corrected for me. This year, it appeared that it was out of the coverage area and Bryndon took the time to contact me, let me know this and ask if it was okay to deliver it on a Sunday. Wow, I said, absolutely, I didn't think that stores would be delivering on a Sunday. He kindly said, well we don't but I wanted to be sure that your mom got them and that he was willing to run it down there on his own time. Amazing. So unheard of that companies go above and beyond like this for their customers these days. Thanks so much for the great customer service. You've gained a customer...
