Winstead Park — Attraction in Idaho

Terrific park to bring your dog. Early mornings dogs are allowed off leash (check the website for the park or read the signs posted at the park for off leash hours. You can get a hefty ticket if caught letting your dog off leash during unapproved hours). Big park, lots of trees and a big open space in the center. I think one lap around the park path is 1/3 mile. Very lively, I'm excited to see so many people enjoying a park I grew up going to, the playgrounds updated majorly since I was little! Unique and wide range of all kinds of people just chillin', enjoying the outdoors:) only thing.. bathrooms not open yet, when I went.. and the porta potty was disgusting I will not be using it ever again lol, and I really don't want to go into detail too much, the park is still great, I'll just use a restroom before and after...

Nice park. It has a 1/4 mile circular path with lots of beautiful trees. A great playground for the kids. There is a couple bbq grills right by a fairly good sized covered picnic area with about a half dozen picnic tables. Bathrooms are on site too. Dogs are allowed provided they are on a leash. Large grassy area to play ball or frisbee or just lounge around. I've been to this park many times and not once was there...
