Active Office Furniture — Local services in Garden City

I had been looking for an office chair for a while before I stopped into Active Office Furniture. Right when I walked in I was greeted by Nick. He was helpful and pointed us in the right direction. We took our time and sat in every chair they had. Nick even came out of the back while eating lunch just to check on us and make sure we were doing alright and answer any questions. We found one we liked and the price was amazing. We ended up going shopping for some other things and by the time we were headed back the place was closed for the day. I went in Monday morning and Nick remembered me and gave me a warm greeting. Chad was able to help me load the chair in the car and ring me up. Not only does this place have a great staff that is happy to do business, but it has some of the best pricing available. I passed by here on my way to another furniture store and decided to drop in to check out the available office furniture, since I was looking for a new desk. Chris was quick to help me and explain the store layout, and then gave me the space to look for what suited my needs. I found the desk that I wanted, asked him if he could sell it to me in a different configuration that what was on the show room floor, and he said yes so I bought the desk. Chris was very nice to work with- great communicator, high energy, excellent customer service. The third party that this store uses for their deliveries are also really good. I paid for the desk on Sunday, and they offered to deliver that Monday or Wednesday. I opted for a Wednesday delivery, and Wyatt and Justin were personable, efficient, and communicative. Our small business has purchased several thousand dollars worth of office furniture from this company in the last 6 months. Last week we purchased 2 used filing cabinets and once we got them to the office noticed that they do not have high sided drawers so they won’t hold hanging folders. We tried to return them to exchange for something that will work for us and they won’t take return without a restocking fee. I find it very rude and unprofessional that you would insist that a customer have to pay a restocking fee for filing cabinets that don’t hold files, not to mention the fact that our company has given you a great deal of money in the last 6 months and we are obviously not valued, it is very disheartening.
