Do you believe in miracles? Here's ours... we were searching for a piece of signed NY Rangers memorabilia for Tom Fitzsimmons, our 30-year sports and news broadcaster. Within a 12 hour window, I called my cousin, who texted his son-in-law in Boise. Hunter walked into #Sportscardfanatic, asking if they carried Rangers memorabilia. They walked him over to a section of Texas Rangers gear, and he explained it was the NY Rangers he wanted. They laughed and told him no one is interested in hockey in Boise. As the three men stood there contemplating a solution, a young woman strolled in and said she had something in her car that she wanted to sell as she needed money to go skiing. Hunter, Christian, and Cody followed her out to her car, and when she opened the trunk, staring back at them was this 2005 NY Rangers jersey signed by the entire team. In complete disbelief, they called their boss, Sean, and explained what had just happened. After their discussion, Christian hung up and told Hunter that they were not only buying it BUT donating it to Tom's 30th Anniversary Celebration that took place June 3rd at Toffanelli's. Another "Miracle On Ice". Human kindness exists when people care about each other. Thank you so much, Sportscard Fanatic. Your generous hearts created an unexpected surprise for the #1 NY Rangers Fan, Tom, and our community simply can't stop talking about it... we still can't believe it. We are so grateful. Once strangers from different states, you in Garden City and us in Grass Valley, CA, we are now friends. Simply...
Read moreThere are lots of really good cards to look at. The staff is friendly. I just wouldn't bring cards here to sell. I have several times and always walk right back out with the same cards I went in with. They just don't give you even remotely what they're valued at. You can do your homework all you want..... If you're a collector, that's a given. But it never fails. They always seem to find it for half of the value that you did. I use all the major card value websites. Ebay, Sports cards pro, beckett, PSA, collx, cardbase, etc... You name it. And then you will be offered 1/3 or 1/4 the price THEY found it for. I get it, ya gotta make money. I've asked for the sites they use, and they would tell me. I'd go use that site. Come back, tell them the price I found, and which site. Somehow, that site isn't reliable anymore. So I ask again which sites, I try those. Come back a few weeks later. Same thing. I think they just Google it, and whatever the cheapest price they can find, that's what they'll use, then cut that in half. Other than selling cards here, 1 star. the actual store and staff 5 stars. Works out to a 3 overall average. I've never purchased from here, so I can't give a...
Read moreTook my two boys (10 and 6) into Sports Card Fanatic today on a mission to find the perfect baseball card, and the experience was unforgettable. Before we even checked out, a kind gentleman—not an employee—walked up and gave each of my boys incredible cards for free, simply because he wanted to pass on his childhood passion for collecting. You don’t see that kind of generosity every day.
At checkout, Christian took things to another level. He treated my kids like VIPs, made them feel special, and went out of his way to make sure their visit was pure magic. His enthusiasm and kindness turned an ordinary stop into one of those memories my boys will never forget.
If you’re into collectibles, memorabilia, or sports cards of any kind—this is the place to go in Boise. Outstanding service, authentic people, and the kind of atmosphere that reminds you why you fell in love with collecting in the first place. Highly...
