Lots of good tacos here. I appreciate that they aren't slinging out tacos within seconds because that means that they are taking time on the tortillas. Starting with the tortillas- very good! They are heated up we'll and have just the right amount of oil, not dripping off of them but not dry at all. The carne selection is pretty standard including a Lengua and Tripa. Asada was better than a lot of the other asada I have had. The Adobada was ok, heavily marinated in small pieces, but that makes it a bit dry. Al Pastor was with the little bit of pineapple tang. Carnitas was good in the texture, juiciness, and flavor. And the Lengua starts out tasting very similar to most Lengua- but comes in at the end with a good flavor. If Lengua is your thing, you'll need to try these. Of those tacos, carnitas was the winner. There is a mini fridge with salsa containers, a few different types. Green is very mild, red has a bit of heat, And a green avocado salsa that was mild too. Next time I will ask for some grilled chilies. Prices were all $2 to $2.50 depending on meat and there has a fairly normal amount of filling. Over all I'd say the price is average, not too expensive but not some crazy awesome bargain.

I absolutely love this place and the food but after the first few times I went, just after it opened, the food has steadily declined. At first I thought it was just maybe a long day or something and the cook just wanted to be done or whatever the case was, but each time I’ve gone back they give me worse and worse looking food. Like bad cilantro and onions and even old limes. This time half of the tortillas were missing or destroyed. Like I said I love this place and it’s super close to my house, the food I can eat still tastes good, I would just appreciate a little more care being put into my food. Otherwise you guys do a great job and it’s one of my top places to eat in town. If it could just get back to like when you guys first opened.

So disappointed. We love Mexican food and were very excited to try this place. There were no other cars in the parking lot when we arrived but still wanted to try this new place. We ordered two orders of Mulitas Al pastor and two chiles rellenos. The kids got kids burritos. Out total for the 4 of us came to Just over $50 before tip. I almost cancelled the order when they took the chiles out and threw them in the microwave. I didn’t cancel and didn’t ask for a refund. It was our choice to eat here, we just won’t do it again. The beans taste canned, the rice was crunchy, the marinade for the Al pastor was canned enchilada sauce with canned pineapple. I would’ve rather had Taco Bell and I hate Taco Bell.

I was in the mood for some quesabirria today so I stopped into Taqueria Las Brazas today. Walked in and nobody was really up front. It did take a minute for someone to come out. When someone did, i was greeted with the most beautiful smile and hello! I appreciate how genuine she was greeting me. I had a couple questions about the menu. She answered them, got my goodies ordered and went on my way to find a table.

I must have just missed the rush cause a majority of the tables were dirty. Dirty with food, cups and plates. I found a smaller table and just hung out till my food was ready.

For lunch I ordered a carne asada taco, shredded beef taco and a quesabirria taco. At first look these babies were stacked! There was so much meat in eat taco. They were not lacking for sure! I grabbed some fresh lime and green salsa from the sauce bar. I started off with the quesabirria taco. It was hearty with birria meat. It was tender and flavorful! The carne asada taco was topped with fresh onion and cilantro. The meat was savory and abundant! I didn't get a chance to try the shredded beef taco just yet, I was too full. I did enjoy the flavors of the meat but the carne asada was on the dryer side. Adding lime and salsa did help but it was hard to chew. The quesabirria taco shell a a little too soft for me. I would have like a crispier texture to the corn tortilla. It also lacked cheese. There was no cheese pull what so ever. I'm happy that they sell single quesabirria tacos. It was nice to try it out at this joint.

My first impression of this place wasn't the best considering the place was dirty. The food was decent but you get a lot of bang for your buck which is nice in today's economy. But I will give credit to the great customer service...

NEXT TIME YOU WANT MEXICAN, GO HERE!! We stopped here on a whim when my husband was craving tacos. We both ended up ordering enchiladas Mexicanas and we both loved them! These are 3 small enchiladas that are cooked in a pan with enchilada sauce with a little crisp on the tortilla. They are then topped with little salad of lettuce, tomato and sour cream. DELIGHTFUL and not your typical soggy enchiladas. There was a nice side of rice and beans as well. So sad I failed to take a photo.

A hidden gem here is the little fountain of magical juices in the corner. We saw the horchata was almost gone, so we went for the foamy coconut wonder. It was so so good I can't stop thinking about it. We refilled with a mix of this and horchata and were equally pleased. There was a kind of juice/punch there also that wasn't labeled and might be a hibiscus drink.

The staff was kind and it had a family-run feel. They were very nice. I saw a bad review about a problem with allergies. Just keep in mind that sometimes there are language barriers and don't get too angry at people. A little Google Translate may have solved...
