Edit: A ton of people have viewed my images and need to make a clear point. This place is fun, and we will likely be back in a year+ in hopes of some clean up being accomplished.

We would be back more frequently, especially for golfing, if some general clean up is done. A few hours a weekend of the owners time could easily remedy many of the short comings.

3/5 Price : Value (summary) We had a blast at a really reasonable price, there were just a few things, mostly with the golf course that we kind of expected a little more from. The kitchen/dining area smelled like a moldy towel.

$50 takes four adults through 2-3hrs of content. You definitely have to make some of your own fun and look past a little bit of maintenance, but for an arcade/golf course they provide fairly acceptable value for the price.

10/10 Employees. They stayed engaged, were quick to provide service, and were both "cool" and accommodating.

4/5 Food : price There's a Sonic across the street, but the prices here were only a little inflated. The hot dogs were large which was also cool.

3/5 golf For $9 a person for a single round of golf I would expect a little bit better maintenance on the courses.

Consider getting rid of gimmicks that are truly broken. I would prefer less volume and more quality. The trees were great cover and made golfing in 89° weather pretty comfortable.

As of early summer of 2022 there are wasps nests in the free game ticket distributor right next to the door to the building / kitchen.

4/5 arcade The arcade was solid, we had a few machines eat a token or two, but the staff was cool about it. There's a high volume of arcade games about half of them were essentially slot machines, the other half were genuine games. So the choices were nice.

There was a pirates game that was absolutely killer, but the left gun had a vertical jittering malfunction with the atom cursor. It was an absolute blast even with a little bit of jank on the left (red) controller.

There was also essentially only one ticket receipt machine, but this might be by design as the prize counter was constantly busy. The staff at the prize counter, while they weren't necessarily jolly, they were definitely quick to assist.

~/5 Go-karts We actually initially went for the go-karts, but a sign in the lobby said that due to staffing issues the go-karts wouldn't be available on the day we went. This could be to poor pay, high heat, or a general difficulty to get people in to...

If I could give them 0 stars I would. My sister bought a pizza for her kids, I bought a pizza for mine. We were told it would be 20 minutes, no big deal. 50 min later we were told it still wasn’t ready. After spending 150 tokens, we waited for our food which should have been done. There were at least 10 people working yet no one cooking food that was ordered or even getting the drinks that were ordered. An employee was rude when I asked for my drinks after 20 minutes had passed without getting them. I had to ask 3 people before getting my drinks. When I was getting my drinks I asked if the pizzas up in the warmer (which was not on) were ours and was told no. Our chili cheese fries were served without chili and we were not told that until after it was paid for and 50 min after it was ordered which was funny because after we got our fries we were asked if we wanted it on our nachos which I had said I thought you were out and they replied no idk why they told you that. Pizza came out 50 min late, and cold, not even slightly warm. We watched them pull them out of the warmer which was not on even after I had asked if those were ours. This was at least 30 min after I had asked before they were served. Management was rude. AVA didn’t provide good customer service and wouldn’t refund both pizzas even tho they were on separate tickets. We were told we could wait for another one but we had already waited an hour for them! & why can two pizzas from different transactions be refunded? I got a “refund” for my pizza YET I WAS ONLY REFUNDED $3.50??? When I called to complain I lied to 3 times about who the manager was and they wouldn’t put her on the phone. When I spoke to Ava again she told me that it was a partial refund ? For a $17 pizza that was cold and was barely touched. She refused to give me corporate phone number. The entire situation was ridiculous. Every employee was terrible. No one was doing anything but sitting on their phones. we were the only people in there for over an hour with 10 people working so there was no reason to not get drinks for 20 min until I asked 3 people or for an hour wait for a pizza. We will not ever be back, waste of over $100. Terrible service, horrible food,...

I brought my son here today 5/5/2023. It was at 5:30 and they were not busy at all. There was one helpful older gentleman who told me to get tokens from the machine and not the counter because you don’t have to pay tax. Other than that every young person working here was rude and not helpful. They were all standing in a circle talking, not wanting to be interrupted. When I went to the counter originally for tokens the young woman working argued with a young guy on who would help me. They were two feet in front of me arguing about helping me. It was awkward. I finally said “can anyone just get me some tokens.” That’s when the older gentleman told me about the machine. We used the terminator shooting game and only one side worked, the other took my coins. Several of the machines took the tokens but wouldn’t play. With the rude teenagers working there it was pointless to ask for our tokens back. We then went to get food from their snack shack.. the two people working said order from up there and pointed to the front desk and walked away from us.. so we didn’t even bother. We wanted to play mini golf, but couldn’t get anyone to help us get golf clubs. Overall the workers really ruined the experience for us. We won’t be back. Super disappointed because this was a staple of both mine and my partners childhood that we had hoped to share with our son. Hoping they see this review and make the necessary changes in employment to make this place...

I’m sad to leave this review as I loved coming here as a child and was excited to finally be able to bring my child who is now old enough to play miniature golf. The cashier was kind enough to let my 6 year old have a free game as it was her birthday and we chose the kings area because it was the most shaded but was sad to see what condition it was in when we started playing. What used to be a course with animatronic moving characters is now nothing more than aged green turf that is ripped and causing creases that affect the golf ball going into the hole. The alligator we had to pull open his mouth to even get the balls in and one eye that lights up was missing. The rocket ship is completely gone and now is just metal and brick. At the end you could win a buy one, get one ticket if you get your golf ball into the hole and we did but didn’t get a ticket because the machine was broken. Inside isn’t any better as there is water damage in the walls, wall trim falling off or missing and it smells musty as there is likely mold. I tried to peek at the other courses to see if they were better and there was a different alligator working but that was the only one I found that moved. There was a creepy clown that seemed broken but if I remember he is supposed to be moving. We sadly will not be back.

Cool Crest has plenty of things to do for all ages. But what I was surprised by was the staff on a busy Saturday night that was available and helpful to me and everyone I saw. I have met others recently, who have said the same thing and so I am sharing this information with you that you’ll have a good experience here. My testimony: Stephanie greeted me at The counter patiently to help me with my five year-old first time miniature golf. She was able to give me options and accommodate me which helped immensely and I can’t wait to come back. Alex was on the floor, helping all of us with The arcade machines and even took a minute to interact with me and my son which made our night so well. Alex was a true hero on the floor of the arcade on the busy Saturday night. Lastly(Sorry, I forgot his name) When we turned in our prize, there was an employee who helped us get a built airplane glider model that he knew was the one and only thing my son wanted and barely had enough tickets. Thank you all for making my experience great for my son and myself.
