Melting Pot Candy LLC — Attraction in Independence

Wow! This place is amazing. I visited the shop today for business purposes. Upon my visit, I fell immediately in love with the story behind the company, the customer service and warm welcoming atmosphere. Not to mention, and I feel it's not necessary to say it, but I went crazy for their family recipes. They happily offered me free samples, with absolutely no pressure to buy! As a matter of fact, insisted that I try at least one piece of candy. I can't be happier that I had the opportunity to visit a true family owned business and real American story. Amazing chocolates and the only reason I am rating it 4 stars is that the owner assumed that all Oreo cookies are gluten free: so she said that the cookies and creme truffles were gluten free. I corrected her as I Oreo makes a gluten free version which I have bought due to high sensitivity to gluten. It would have been eat now and suffer later for me.
