I drove to the Schrott Center to see a free ballet by the Ailey Dance Company, Feb 6th, 2024, that was advertised that no ticket was needed. Paid $10 for parking and stood in line a half hour outside in the cold with a hundred or more people. I had to go to the very front of the line to see why the line wasn’t moving. The ushers weren’t letting anyone else in, but also not announcing loudly to the back of the line that there were no more seats left. So hundreds of people walked back to the parking garage and were not given a refund for paying $10 to park. Please do not go to any free event at the Schrott center in the future unless you can reserve a ticket. Not one single person working with the event or the venue was around.No signs ..nothing..had 2 ask the only 2 random ppl I sent for directions. Finally find it ..only to realize there is no close parking. I have a back injury that makes long walks painful & tedious. Finally find the parking spot, had issues getting a ticket..again no one around to help. But finally get in & park. It's 30 mins after the show started now so im late. Try to buy a soda & told no ..that concession is closed. The concession closed immediately after the show started???!!! Smdh this event & the staff ..didn't even try a lil bit . Very...

the parking garage is a solid 10+ min walk away. There are handicap spots and elevators, but they're tight. Event pricing is 10$.
Getting into Schrott there is a vestibule with two doors, so you most likely will need a companion to navigate those. The box office for will call tickets is in this vestibule, and the queue is a tight squeeze.
