I ordered an iced matcha latte through the mobile app at 10:20 AM, and it said it would be ready for pickup at 10:40. I had a class at 11, so I thought this was perfect timing. So I showed up to the Starbucks a few minutes before 10:40 and waited. 20 minutes pass and they haven't even started to make my drink yet. At this point I am late to my class, but Starbucks is expensive, so I'm not going to give up. I ask about my drink and get sassed. I wait 15 more minutes before they finally start to make my drink. I finally get the matcha latte 40 minutes after the app said it would be ready. The latte is pale and barely has any matcha in it, and when I take a sip it just tastes like sweetened milk. I try to call the store and ask for a refund, and the phone number is no longer available, so I call the main Starbucks office and get put on hold, where I am still waiting to be helped by a store representative. Read moreIf I could rate this negative stars I would. Seriously the worst Starbucks I’ve ever been to. They’re always out of something (one time they were out of WATER. Apparently a plumbing issue but you’re not supposed to keep a food service place open if you don’t have sufficient available running water… hello OSHA violation??) or multiple things at a time. Some of the employees are nice but a lot of them give you death glares. And they take forever to make your order. Once waited like half an hour for a drink when there were only a few other customers in the store. Line takes forever to move even when multiple employees are working. Many of them get snippy/short with you if you ask about the status of your order instead of apologizing for taking 20 minutes to microwave one muffin. This is the only Starbucks on campus and should be the fastest source of coffee but I would honestly rather use a meal swipe and take the watered down dining hall coffee because it’s better than whatever this Starbucks has...
Read moreI would be happy to score 0 stars if possible. I was in line for 25 min. (no exageration here) with about 10 people in front of me. Only 2 employees working like mad to keep up. It was my only 45 min. break for lunch in the day. I walked away after waiting for 4 min. at the cash register without even being asked about my order.
Bad practice: there are no prices listed anywhere by the refrigerated food and beverages or around. Yet again, another bad experience...
