While the staff are nice, the pricing and requirements are ridiculous. They come up with new costs on the spot. We take our cats annually to get a wellness check in February. 6 months later, one of my cats needs a dental cleaning. On top of the $225 bloodwork that is a requirement (by the way, if itâs a requirement, just include it in the dental cleaning price), they insist they need to do another wellness check for $35. They did this too when I was trying to get my cats updated on their vaccines in July. Both ârequiredâ a wellness check when we already took them in February! I canât help but feel scammed. Additionally, when asking for an estimate of the dental cleaning, they say they canât provide that because other patients have gotten mad when it isnât within the price range. Hereâs a little bit of advice, the clinic obviously knows a RANGE of pricing they can give. They can also have patients sign a consent form that states the procedure might be outside of the range due to extractions and other complications. Not providing an estimate is scummy and makes one think that maybe, the clinic was always upcharging the treatments. The clinic really needs to work harder at being transparent with pricing and services and stop with the current ways of doing business. I have never been this fed up with a clinic. I will not be taking my pets here anymore and I hope the rest of you heed my advice. Maybe theyâre better with dogs? I donât know but worst clinic I have been to and Iâve lived in a lot of different places...

Read moreEDIT: Attempted to get my dog an appointment for a limp she developed, sent the office a message through their website and left a voicemail and was never called to schedule. Very disappointed since my initial experience was good.
Took my pup to Ladera Pet Clinic for the first time this week and was very happy with the visit and care. Unfortunately due to COVID I wasnât able to go in with my dog, but the staff was very nice and the doctor even called with his assessment before doing any work to ensure I was in agreement with what they wanted to do and they gave me a very detailed estimate for the service. On top of all this the vet tech gave me honest answers in regards to prescriptions, instead of trying to pressure me into buying everything...
