Louisiana Fried Chicken — Restaurant in Inglewood

Just went in for the first time yesterday. As part of my order totaling $34.35, was a large order of fried rice with both shrimp and chicken in it, which by itself cost $14.25. It was disgusting. The "chicken" was shreds of meat that was so salty it was inedible, and it was so hard and chewy, making me wonder is it recycled scraps from their other food that they just didn't want to go to waste. The shrimp in it was salty too, not as much as the chicken, but it and the rice's flavoring were just "off", and just basically didn't taste like fried rice. Ironically, I saw another Google review on here from 2 years ago, wondering if the fried rice was the boxed rice Zataran's. And this patron like me was also made to feel like they were an annoyance. One of the guys gave me a dirty look, I guess because he felt I was taking too long to order, rather than appreciating my business. The other guy though, was kind, friendly, patient, and had great customer service. The rest of my order was just okay. And my 10 piece chicken nuggets for $7.99 was the level of Burger King for way less money. Btw, I threw the rice in the trash. I doubt I'll return for a second chance because if you're Asian and can't get fried rice right, then what else can't you get right?Last but not least, I would have never left this review had they not refused to answer the phone when I called to tell them this privately and personally, which I honestly...

Parking was very easy in their lot. I walked in and ordered at the counter. He said 10 minutes and my order was ready on time. I drove home because it is takeout only. The food was still hot when I sat down. I was very impressed that I asked him to leave off the fries on my fish and shrimp combo and he offered me another side. The fish and shrimp were perfectly fried and quite fresh. I added the hot sauce to the tartar sauce and loved every bite. They even removed the tails from the shrimp. Very generous portion of the slaw too. I also ordered the gumbo. I got the large and it was enormous. It’s packed with chicken, shrimp, celery, bell pepper and onion. Everything was properly cooked and fresh but the broth was not swampy enough for me. It was very good but after a few bites I was running out of room and finished the fried fish and shrimp. I will work on the gumbo later. They are very generous with their portions. The gumbo also comes with rice on the side. I also got a soft drink and a dinner roll. I really enjoyed this meal a lot. I really don't know where to start this wn south and this Louisiana has fried fish they have catfish also red snapper and trust me it's good the one thing is very important when you have any place with Fish and Chicken they have to be fried and separate grease in Louisiana does that. Why is that so important you ask? 3 words cross-contamination and salmonella poisoning 2 things you do not want and you would not get here it Louisiana. However, in addition to the Fish and Chicken they have the spicy fried rice they also have the shrimp fried rice I mean everything is good.

Also, there's Friday Fish and Chicken fresh oh and I forgot I stopped the gumbo and is good I was surprised but if anybody knows gumbo the secret is in the Rue and she said they make their gumbo fresh everyday I don't know but from what I did try it was good so what are recommended Louisiana I would I recommend this spot by all means didn't break my bank and...
