If I could give this stadium zero stars I would so you’re lucky the lowest I can give is a one star. I went to the Iowa Vs. Nebraska game in 11/25/2022 and was beyond excited as this would be my first football game ever. When I got to my seat, it was occupied by another person who was away from the seat as explain by the people beside it. When I got security to ask what I should do, I was told to contact the ticket office Monday morning because at that time, there was nothing they could do. Now you can imagine how disappointed I was after driving two hours; only to wait in the car for my friend after the game because I didn’t want to ruin their day by making them leave. When I reached out Monday I was told they would have to investigate the situation and figure out what was going on. I finally got my answer back and was told there was nothing they could do and that if there was an issue, I should have went to the ticket counter to address it. It’s funny how the security staff can tell you one thing, but get told another by a representative from the ticket department a few days later; you would think that would be something everyone should know. Their reasoning behind the decision not to refund me was someone’s items could have just been sitting on the seat. Again, the people beside my seat told me someone was sitting there and the security guard said there was nothing they could do. This is completely unprofessional and I will not be back after being treated...
Read moreFirst time ever. Went with my brother, who has been here a few times. Although my Huskies lost, it was one of the most awesome experiences ever. You can park for free at student parking & board a free shuttle to Carver-Hawkeye Arena, which is one block away. Once inside the Stadium, it lived up to its historical name. Concessions were reasonably priced, and so was the merchandise. I even bought an ANF t-shirt to show support to the farmers. Sat in section 109 close to the field (Thanks Vivid Seats). Got great traditions like the Back In Black (one of my favorite AC/DC songs of all time) intro which led to The Swarm and the special one of Waving to the Children, which is phenomenal! Even though my team was on the short end of a 40-16 final score, all the fans were very classy, friendly, and welcoming! Even some fans tried to give me a hard time for being a longtime & loyal Washington Husky fan (and my brother who loves his Nebraska Cornhuskers), but that was short lived when I mentioned to all that "We Beat Michigan Last Week", that's when it stopped. Once again, all the fans I encountered were definitely wonderful people and also one of the places a College Football fan should attend a game at least once. We will see you Hawkeye fans at The Greatest Setting in 2026! An extra special THANK YOU to all of the staff, administration, players, cheer squads, marching band, associates and, of course, all of you loyal to the Gold...

This historic but continuously improving structure is home to some of my favorite memories. Between football games, open practices for the public, movie nights, concerts and even a wrestling meet, Kinnick Stadium is a MUST VISIT place if you're in or around Iowa.
Take a picture with the Nile Kinnick statue on the south end of the stadium and make sure to check out the rows of corn that are growing next to it (what a neat touch given the state it's in).
Tour the outside of the facility and be impressed with how the University and football program has merged state-of-the-art renovations with the architecture from time gone by. And while you're at it, stop to wave at the patients at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics across the street even if it's not part of the now award winning "Wave" that is done on...
