We cannot say enough amazing things about the Heights Rooftop venue and their incredible team! From the beginning they made sure we had the best possible experience planning our wedding reception. Sarah Schminke the Heights Rooftop wedding and event specialist there is the absolute best to work with! She is so kind, knowledgeable, and was always willing to quickly answer any questions we had throughout the planning process. Her and Carson Bean (Event Operations manager) were both available the day of our reception and ensured everything ran smoothly for us, our vendors, and our guests. Not only are the people there amazing, but the venue space is absolutely gorgeous and overlooks Kinnick stadium. The Heights being located inside The Courtyard by Marriot University Heights was a huge bonus for all of our guests who traveled into town for our wedding. Kelly Murphy (Director of sales) was very accommodating to us and our guest for any hotel requests we had. Other bonuses of this venue space include their delicious menu with a wide variety of options (they did a great job accommodating any food allergies as well) and all of the amenities that are included with the venue space (tables and chairs, tablecloths, candles, table numbers, etc). The space is absolutely beautiful and the staff go above and beyond to make sure the day is stress-free. Sarah, Kelly, Carson, and everyone else made the entire planning process and day of so enjoyable and were a pleasure to work with. Huge plus that they have a ton of essentials included when you book with them including linens, table numbers, candles/vases, chargers and plates, and so much more. Planning and communication with her was easy and fun, and the actual day-of execution was So. Dang. Good. We loved the convenience of their House Decor package, bar and food. Everything was flawless. We got so many compliments from our guests on how beautiful the venue was. We had to do a last minute transition to move the ceremony inside due to rain, and staff handled this seamlessly.
