My.daughter and I went on the opening day this year. Paul, the owner, came out to welcome us when we arrived. We went in to see the bunny's and the other farm animals before we walked through the tulips. When we got to the tulips a woman greeted us, she gave us a basket to collect the flowers we picked ourselves and told us we could take pictures. Since it was the first day, it was only yellow and red tulips that were bloomed. She told us if we came back the first week in May all the other ones/colors would be bloomed. We got so many beautiful photos and picked the most beautiful tulips. Either of us have ever seen. They are a $1per stem. while we were there, there was a woman with her dog, taking photos, a mother with her two small babies, taking photos and many more families.
Paul also told us that in September they have a sunflower fields he welcomed us back then. They also had fresh organic honey and jars for sale which we did not buy. We will definitely be back in the fall great experience for all ages not to mention the most...
Read moreWe went to the tulip fields in May 2024 and had an amazing time! We will definitely be back.
This review however is for my two year old twins birthday party that we had here June 15. Such an amazing option for a kids birthday party, so much fun! Paul was great communicating and answering all my questions. We were able to set up with plenty of time. Used the yurt for shade and for the food and presents, but since it was such a beautiful day most people stayed outside. We got to feed the goats and sheep and see the cows and llamas. The highlight was petting the bunny and bottle feeding the baby goats. Everyone from the toddlers to the great grandparents had a great time. Ipswich house of pizza delivered right to the yurt which made everything so easy. The kids got to climb on tractors which they loved and made for great photos too. My only fyi is there is only a porta potty, but it is very clean, more so an fyi for little ones. Will definitely plan another one of their birthday...
Read moreTip Top Tulips is our favorite farm to visit! We came for the tulip field and were delighted to see all the beautiful colors!! The pick your own experience ($1 per stem) was terrific — we were given a flower basket, got to see many varieties of tulips, and Paul was kind enough to snap a few photos of us!
Although we came for the flowers, the highlight for us was getting to chat with the father and son that run this farm (fourth generation family farm). They are such kindhearted, welcoming people who have been so thoughtful about making Tip Top Tulips a magical place to visit. We got to hear stories about the animals and had a blast meeting the cows, goats, bunnies, donkey, and more. Don’t miss Midnight the pony! :)
Thank you for the wonderful experience! We can’t wait to come back later this year for sunflowers...
