OTTO — Restaurant in Ipswich

Ordered here before, and typically really like the food. Last time, I got the margarita pizza, and it was so soggy, I didn’t eat it at all. Fast forward to tonight, my boyfriend wanted to order from there, so he got a meat lovers pizza, which he’s gotten before and loved. This time, it was completely soggy and he was pretty grossed out. When I called, the guy on the phone was like “oh sorry, I’ll talk to the cooks in the kitchen.” And I then asked about a refund for the pizza (we got the pizza, cheesy bread, meatballs and tiramisu) to which he had to call me back, so he could call his boss. When he called back, he said that “unless it was uncooked dough, and a health hazard, we can’t do a refund.” To which I was AMAZED…. Because WHAT DO YOU MEAN?? They were completely fine with us being disgusted and not enjoying a $20 pizza… after some back and forth, unfortunately I had to drive back to the pizza shop for a second time, just to prove the pizza was inedible. The customer service was incredibly horrendous. And for the price you pay- you shouldn’t be getting...

SO GOOD! We had never been and ordered pizza. It was cooked perfectly, not greasy at all, so much flavor in the caramelized pears and pulled pork combo and really great thin crust New York style pizza. It was the perfect amount of toppings, not cheap and not overloaded. Great job, guys. I gave them 4 stars because when we tried to order from their website there were certain meat pizzas it wouldn't let us choose the size for. It was not a seasonal thing. Ordered from there today, they are still getting up to speed as they just opened, probably take another two weeks to be up to full speed, however ordered a couple a pizzas, one was a large dough pepperoni pizza we all loved it, ordered garlic bread sticks, we loved them also, definitely go back again, food and service where great, as for atmosphere on the inside it’s a small place only room for a couple of tables so their really isn’t one.
